Menswear-Club-March-2017-Info-Card

The theme this month is “Executive Lounge Parcel.” The Menswear Club always sends a post card with some information about the items and the value of the box; I really find this helpful, especially when some of the items are non-branded.

Menswear-Club-March-2017-Eye-Mask

Flight 001 – F1 Air Supplies Basic Eye Mask – Value $12.00

First up, is the #1 necessity (in my opinion) for long flights: the eye mask. This mask has an extra piece over the bridge of the nose to eliminate additional light. The elastic is adjustable and the fabric is soft. I love a good eye mask and I would say this one is great for travel – it folds up easily and works pretty well!

Menswear-Club-March-2017-Socks

Sir Sock – Mr. Bond Socks – Value $10.72 USD

These socks are made from premium combed cotton and seem well made. I love the design and the one review on these socks is actually pretty funny. They also mention that the toe is hand stitched on their website – I’m not sure that means much for me but if you’re the type to care about such things, these are the socks for you – they’re really quite nice.

Menswear-Club-March-2017-Tie

Mosaic Black Striped Tie – Value $35.00

This tie is made from 100% cotton and is handmade. It looks and feels very high-quality, and also seems to be conducive with large or small knots. I think this is the perfect spring/summer tie–it would go well with either seasons’ colors. It’s also lightweight, so it won’t be too hot.

Menswear-Club-March-2017-Tie-Clip

Arrow Tie Clip by The Menswear Club – Listed Value $25.00

This tie clip is about an and a half long and is very sturdy. The clamp is pretty strong so you won’t have to worry about it falling off or sliding. I think this would’ve been a cute accessory for a February box since it looks like Cupid’s arrow, but it is low profile enough to be used year round!

Menswear-Club-March-2017-Towel

Men’s Society Travel Face Towels, 5-count – Value $8.33

These little pellets turned into a full sized washcloth. The fabric is similar to that of a face wipe, or a makeup remover wipe. As soon as I ran it under the water it unfurled into a towel, which you can see below.

These are a little delicate, so it might tear easily. They will function well for one use, which is what they’re made for. I think these are brilliant for traveling, camping, or hiking.

Verdict: This The Menswear Club parcel has a value of approximately $91. I say approximately because the tie clip value can’t be verified. I think this was a great mix of products for a travel box. Yes, there were the usual suspects of a tie and socks, but the little face towels and the eye mask would be helpful for travel. I might actually purchase some of those travel face towels for myself, they’re perfect for traveling to countries that do not provide washcloths in hotels or whatnot.

Have you tried The Menswear Club yet?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
