MistoBox is a coffee subscription box that sends 12 oz. bags of coffee that are selected just for you.
When you sign up for a subscription, you let MistoBox know what type of coffee you’d like to receive and how often you’d like to receive it. They then pair you up with a “coffee curator” who learns your preferences and picks coffee to suit your taste and budget.
Here’s a screenshot of my preferences. I’ve opted to receive lightly roasted deluxe blends and single origin coffees once every 4 weeks. Keep in mind that the coffee I receive is picked for me based on my personal preferences— your shipment might be totally different!
If you don’t enjoy a coffee you receive, MistoBox will replace it for free.

Steadfast Coffee Burundi Kinyovu Microlot (12 oz.) - Value $19
This month, my coffee curator paired me with this coffee that was roasted by Steadfast Coffee, in Nashville, Tennessee.
It’s a fully washed coffee that was sourced from the Rango, Kayanza region in Burundi. The beans are lightly roasted, and MistoBox recommends looking for notes of chocolate, dark fruit, and citrus.
I really love this coffee. The flavor is bright, juicy, and chocolatey. It really has it all! This is the kind of coffee that’s complex enough for me to enjoy in the afternoon, but balanced and yummy enough for first thing in the morning. I would happily order this coffee again.
Verdict: My MistoBox curator has been on a roll lately! I love receiving coffees that are hand picked for me based on my profile and feedback, and every single coffee I’ve received in the last several months has been a perfect fit for me. Hooray! In terms of value, I paid $18.99 and I received $19 worth of coffee. Considering the level of personalized curation, I think that’s a great deal!
