Morpheme-March-2017-8

This month’s theme is “Sweeter Days”. MorpheMe sent an info card about their rewards program, highlight their monthly brushes, along with a 10% off coupon. MorpheMe is offering a new feature that will allow subscribers to trade in their brushes for a different set.

An MSA reader had asked last month about the size of the brushes. So, this month I lined each brush along a ruler so you can get a sense of scale. I hope this helps.

Morpheme-March-2017-4

M436 Mini Duo Blender – Value $6.99

This brush’s Duo-Fiber Synthetic & Sable bristles are intended for a lighter, even foundation, concealer, or powder application.

Morpheme-March-2017-3

M401 Large Pointed Powder – Value $13.99

This large pointed brush with sable bristles is intended for caking on powder under eyes, contouring, defining my cheekbones or dusting my face with translucent powder.

M521 Chisel Oval Shadow – Value $5.99

This shadow brush has goat bristles and is shaped perfectly to carve, define, blend, and highlight my eyes. It’s recommended to pat and press your desired shadow at the center of your lid.

Morpheme-March-2017-6

M412 Deluxe Pointed Blender – Value $5.99

This blended shadow brush also has sable bristles and can be used to apply the darker shadow to the outer of the eye as well as blending my colors.

Morpheme-March-2017-model

I used the M521 chisel oval shadow and M412 deluxe pointed blender brushes and found they blended well and were super soft.

Verdict: I enjoy receiving the MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club! I’m slowly learning and having fun using my monthly brushes. This month’s brushes have a value of $32.96,which falls just above their guarantee. It may seem excessive to have so many brushes, but if you are dedicated to your makeup ritual it’s good to switch out your brushes often and have a variety on hand. Check out their brush care tips for keeping your brushes like new.
