I ended up caving, and since I was on the fence and took so long, it popped up a 20% off offer without signing up for anything. My box shipped out the same day, and is already here, all the way on the east coast! I had to add 2 pairs (polarized) to hit the minimum for free shipping. I ended up with the wrong order (I ordered a polarized classic and a polarized premium, but got two premiums; this sounds like an upgrade, but I wanted them to be different.) I don’t know what I was expecting exactly from the mystery box, but I’m pretty underwhelmed – I ended up with black and gray tortoiseshell frames, and a frosted black with gold brackets, and a plain red-framed pair. I wanted to share with my guy – he’s pretty okay with kooky colors but all except the red seem pretty feminine. 🙁 I guess I’ll be posting on the swap site.

I got my box today (I live in San Diego and they are from SD) and wow!!! I got the extra three pairs! So cute!! But the official three are all non-polorized, a yellow clear premium pair with yellow chrome lens (pretty cool in person, sounds weird and I wouldn’t have picked them but awesome on), a glossy black fort nox pair with classic black lens (my mom stole my polarized version of these so yay!) And lastly a black tortoise shell premium with black lens and WOW. I haven’t seen black tortoise on their site, only brown, but these are so nice! Overall I couldn’t be happier!!!

I must have at least 20 pairs but of course I still need more…added an extra pair to get the free shipping. 4 Pairs for $50 is not exactly a bargain but I love the thrill of maybe getting a bonus item and at least I know the pair I added is polarized. Last time i got the mystery box only one of the 3 was.

I got the last mystery box and was pretty underwhelmed with their selection…a basic pair of black, a pair with the flag on it, and clear ones with rainbow lenses. Honestly, I think it’s better to get a pair you love than to get something you may never wear at all.

What are the mini red cups for? Are they like Solo cups?

I would get these in a heartbeat if they had a polarized box option. I see they offer polarization on their website, but I doubt it’s the default on these boxes since it’s a price upgrade.
