I was charged for April. No refund or email responses. Shady AF.

This morning they charged me for the April box ! And I’ve emailed and have not gotten a response ! I really think that’s horrible especially if they announced this beginning of the month . And there website is still up like the box isn’t cancelled ! 😡

I agree with all the comments. I wanted to love these boxes but it was just too expensive for what they gave you, a lower price point and I would have bit. It’s a shame because they’re popular eras with a huge fanbase.

I think the idea of these boxes is good. At this price point, it looks like a movie, or music could be included as part of the box, I think that would have really upped the nostalgia level.

I like that idea. It probably wouldn’t have been much for them to procure DVDs in bulk. They wouldn’t even have to be the same ones. I think something like that would have added to the appeal of the boxes.

I loved the 80’s….its super cheap to pickup an 80’s hit movie, or music now, like $5 or so. If they were buying in bulk, they could get them cheaper than that. I would have loved waiting for a box containing those items, you could maybe have a 70s, 80’s, 90’s night once a month with your family, would be a fun idea!

That seems abrupt, especially since there was no warning and you just reviewed the last boxes. Maybe it was a cash crunch?

Anyway, there were some items but it just didn’t feel on par with other boxes at this price point!

It was a nice concept and I enjoyed looking through all of the reviews, but never thought the items were much of a value with the price point. It’s a shame they didn’t charge less – or have better things included.

I’m not incredibly surprised they stopped it.

I wonder if they’ll have any sales on merchandise they have left over . I loved a lot of there boxes .

I was thinking the same thing.

So sad. Retro is such a fun concept. I ended their subscription when they discontinued the 60’s box. They never posted any inventory leftovers from that era for sale.

Yeah. Not surprised. Such a great idea for a one- off gift but the execution was weak for the price!

Oh no!!! A real shame. I had so much vicarious fun reading the reviews. Eighties forever!!!

Ouch, that did not last very long. Not to shocked though, just too high of a price point imo for the novelty items that were sent.
