  1. Day was made. Thanks ladies, for the hilarious conversations! <3

  2. If I subscribe now to FabFitFun having never subscribed before, will I still get the Editor’s Box?? I’ve been waiting for that box to run out since August! When will they run out and how will I know? omg. I just want an actual FFF box be it this Spring or the upcoming Summer box 🙁

    • I believe you will get the spring box if you sign up now and it isn’t already sold out.

  3. Funny, just 5 minutes ago I read an article about how gummy vitamins are a bad choice. Glorified candy. The rest of the kit is meh for me. The lip colors are not right for my skin tone, and I’m just not into round blankets.
I appreciate the spoilers, though. Surprises are usually fun, but this one would have disappointed me.

    • LOL. I agree. Mainly garbage for me, or give away ( like last two). I’ll give it one more, then cancel

  4. Are there any more spoilers, and if there are, when will they be published?

  5. I don’t want pork in my vitamins! 🙁

    • Also cornstarch and sugar are the first two ingredients of those vitamins! 🙁

  6. This thread makes me feel like Brick Tamland in Anchorman! Where’s my trident?

  7. I have a feeling we may get a gift card (which are more like coupons) from Diff. I tried to ask CS but I just got a link to the already released spoilers. Womp womp.
Oh well, I will find out soon enough.

    • Ooooooooh! I am outraged that I want a gift card.

  8. LOL. I’ve never seen so many people get worked up about a FREE item.

Thankfully, purchasing this box is optional. Keeping the vitamins is optional. Keeping them in a safe place, locked or high, is optional.

    • But being outraged is mandatory.

      • 😂

        • I love this thread. People here are actually making me laugh (even though I am angry).

          • Are you saying I shouldn’t expect them to cater to my every desire??? I paid (a discounted price) for this subscription!

If I don’t get a personal apology from Lisa Sugar, I’m going to tell everyone at the book club to burn Power Your Happy.

          • Please do not burn “Power Your Happy”. If you do, everyone else will do the same at exactly the same time, and we will lose the last of our ozone layer.
Please, just be outraged like everyone else.
However, I am in awe of you for your intensity.

          • Julia…bahahaha dying here. plus Sugar is Popsugar lol

          • I’m glad I made someone laugh. Lol yeah that’s a different box, but it’s a similar audience and has lifestyle items, so I always mix them up. 😀

I shouldn’t malign Mrs. Sugar for The Great Vitamin Fiasco of 2017, though.

          • Julia! You really are funny. Thank you! This has been the funniest “conversation” I’ve read so far.

          • Omg dying!!! Julia you’re hysterical! 😂😂😂😂

          • Awww you guys don’t want to inflate my ego too much. I might be tempted to release my own sub box.

          • Oh my, Julia, Rosemary, thank you. I come here because I’m an impatient woman who also can’t wait until Christmas to peek at her gifts but the negativity was getting to me. You both made me laugh.

      • 😂

    • After all the excitement I had about trying out these vitamin gummies at first, I got to know that they’re not being sent to Canadian customers 🙁 ugh ! So sad

      • Do we really not get these in Canada? I got all excited! Hopefully they give us something in replacement 🙁

        • Yes Jordan, that’s what they mentioned on the forum. However, there are 3 website redemption vouchers – which I personally find useless-. I hope they would sort it out. I was so happy to see these gummies at first !

          • Ugh you’re right i Just checked the forum. I wish when people posted spoilers they actually looked at what they were. I was so excited to get these after I saw this spoiler. All we get are stupid gift codes – and one only works in Toronto. So unimpressed.

          • oh man! I’m in Canada and just reading these comments and I don’t understand why we aren’t getting the vitamins!!! what’s up with that???

      • Oh no! I wanted vitamins too. What happened to free trade between our two great countries (entirely a rhetorical question). Kindersuprise = gummies. Or something.

        • *Kindersurprise. I can spell!

      • Yara, you are right! These are the most exciting vitamins, EVER.

        • Rosemary, for real ? Or are you teasing me 😀

          • Nope, I am not teasing you…I am truly amazed that 40 gummies can generate so much controversy.

          • I’m eagerly awaiting Liz’s review of these. Whose side will she take?!

          • I want her to take the side that inflames my rage the most.

    • Ok first off, I hate this item, other people may like it, not everyone is going to like everything, who cares….Second, if you can’t keep your vitamins or pills or anything safe from your children why is that FFF problem???? I have 2 daughters 27 and 15, and let me tell you they never got into pills, cleaning products, etc…you know why? Because I watched them!!!!

I will not take these, BUT I will not put blame on FFF for anything that “could” happen, that’s the most ridiculous thing I have EVER heard in my life!!!!

Like other ladies said…donate, give away, etc. Their not sending us a chainsaw or 5 foot ninja sword, it’s a bottle of vitamins!

      • I would subscribe to any box that sent me anything remotely associated with Ninja swords or razor-sharp throwing stars. It would be difficult to maintain my outrage with such a box.

        • Right! But that would be a pretty cool box hehehe

          • Yaaaaaasssssssss!

      • Kerri, sounds like you were (and are) a good mom. Anyone that can’t handle their vitamins can send them my way.

      • Oooh, I want that 5-foot Ninja sword! I’m outraged I’m not getting it!!!!

        • Hehehehehe!

      • Omg! 🤣 Y’all are too funny! I want a ninja sword!!! ⚔️ It’s just the the BS about the free Stella chalice that helps give people water. Good grief you’d think that was the most horrible awful thing! FFF is trying to give us vitamins and RZ is giving poor people water! 😱 The nerve of these people! 😠

        • *It’s just LIKE the…

          Silly thumbs! 👍👎 Lol!

      • You’re so right Kerri!!! And thank you for saying what I would have said!! 😉

    • Right?? Lolol. People being enraged about a deluxe sample size of vitamins is the funniest things by I’ve seen this week!

  9. Yay! I just ran out!
I will take any donations of any that others dont want!

    • Me too! I love them, I get them from Target

    • Okay??!! I will take any and all donations…I like these vitamins….I also have kids and grands….they can’t get into my meds….they’re up high out of reach.

  10. Any idea what kind of gelatin is in this?

  11. For all those concerned about kids and gummy vitamins – they’ll eat anything that looks like candy (dishwasher pods included).

As far as vitamin ‘candy’ goes – Ikea has locking cabinets for like $40. Which is where anything with the potential to harm ought to be.

But in any case these ‘vitamins’ are complete junk. The same company has a different biotin supplement that actually seems to be half decent.

As a seasonal member I’m still on the fence, and feel that I may still cancel this box. Not thrilled with any spoilers thus far.

    • Actually I have thyroid disease and my once thick, full hair had become very brittle and thin over the last few years, and I’ve been taking these vitamins for 4 months, and my hair is much thicker, healthier, and fuller now. My hairdresser noticed the difference and she takes the vitamins now too. They have really made a big difference for me, and I highly recommend them.

  12. I am a doctor and I hate these types of gummy vitamins. It defeats the purpose of teaching your children that medicine is not candy. From a medical point of view they really aren’t super beneficial either. I love this box though and these are a free sponsored item so no need to get all outraged lol

    • These gummies are not marketed for children.

      • I know they aren’t. I guess my point escaped you.

        • nope i dont think it did. it was sortof invalid or rude as these are not marked for children (nor dangerous). meds dont have to be horrible tasting but a proper respect should be taught. keep them high up or locked up if you have ninjas and watch your kids. It is kind of comical how much this free items has brought lol. advil is more dangerous, cleaners, paint fumes, chemicals in johnson and johnson baby products marketed for babies are more harmful. Lets all calm down. if you dont want them, toss in on your next swap, give them to a friend. who cares.

          • Well said Hildol! 👏

As someone who has a mildly rare condition and has found 2 or 3 docs in the last 20+ years that hasn’t had to google it, I am all to aware that being a doctor doesn’t mean knowing everything or being an expert.

Your opinion may be based on what knowledge you have of said item but that hardly means anything to me. I know more about my conditions than the 100+ docs I’ve encountered. No one knows everything about anything. Very few doc actually PRACTICE medicine and more and more just hand out prescriptions and refer their patients off to other docs. May I ask what your doctorate is in?

          • Mandy – no doctor would ever say they know everything about everything. But they do know a heck of a lot about biology and disease.

It seems pretty safe to assume that Karen has an MD or a DO given her phrasing.

I’ve had frustrating medical experiences and doctors who didn’t listen to me as well. Your statement that “Very few doc actually PRACTICE medicine” is inflammatory and way too simplified. The vast majority of people that go into medicine genuinely want to help people and make a difference. They want to be great physicians. The healthcare system we have puts constant pressure on doctors to see more patient more quickly.

I don’t see how Karen’s statement was out of line, she pointed out that gummy vitamins teach kids a bad lesson. Hildol responded that these aren’t for kids, fair point. And then you basically tell Karen she’s not as smart as she thinks she is?

    • Not everyone has kids in the house. Isn’t it on the parents, not the company, to be responsible for the education of their children? If you have kids, and aren’t comfortable having these in the house, just put them up for trade or donate them – just like any other item in a box that you couldn’t personally use.

      • I believe the majority of the posts about children (including mine) are more about making people aware they are dangerous around kids… not really complaining that they are there in the box.

I think it’s great that we get an extra sponsored freebie. I don’t think they’re safe around my kids so I will be donating them.

That said I do know that a lot of people out there who have kids around might not think about how dangerous they can be. My concern is more to make people aware of potential dangers, not a complaint that they’re in the box.

    • Doctors speak like this? Hmmm 😉

      • I sure do when talking to non drs. Relax and get over yourself please.

        • You should hear what comes out of the mouths of the doctors that I know personally. It’s awesome!!! And no matter how bad it is, I still trust them with my life.

  13. For me the gummies are irrelevant-the rest of this box is fantastic and I cannot wait to receive it. Anyone that doesn’t want the gummies can give them away or toss them out. What a small thing to complain about when we are getting so many great things in this box.

    • I could”t agree with you more Crystal….

    • It makes me sad to imagine people throwing out perfectly good, unopened products though. Donate them or gift them if you can! At my old job, we’d just put extra food etc on the lunch room table with a note, and nothing was wasted. 🙂

    • Crystal….absolutely!! I am too excited!

    • From one Crystal to another! Agree!

  14. Got these from Costco at one time. Didn’t work for me, but I just tried one bottle.

Of the bags, I just decided I like the blue best. Yes, beach please anytime, and I hope I get that one.

    • LOVE that bag! I wish that was one of the items we could customize. I REALLY want “Slay All Day” or “Haute Mess”. I think they both are hysterical!

  15. I love everything in the box! I’m super stoked about the add-on items I ordered as well. This is a great subscription! I have been a subscriber since the first one and have only been disappointed with a few items.

    • I’m so excited for this box. The vitamins are a non-issue as I plan to give to a girlfriend who uses them (and is not a vegetarian). This is the only box I kept when eliminating all my subscriptions. I’m happy about that choice. I feel FFF is far more applicable to me than PopSugar ever was – I regifted nearly every PS box. I love the round towel and swimsuit bag. My add-ons are all things I will use frequently.

  16. I do not think this is a good choice for a lot of reasons that have already been stated. Supplements like gummies can be taken by little kids I feel FFF duped me into an annual subscription that I already regret!

    • These probably will not stay in our house as my toddler loves gummies of all kinds. It seems like it could be dangerous to have around if there are small children in the house.

      • Generally, I keep my vitamins and supplements in the medicine cabinet where small children can’t get them. I also teach my daughter that there are adult vitamins apart from her children’s vitamins that have different doses of ingredients that aren’t good for her little body to take. Really sad how angry a lot of people are by something as silly as a promotional bottle of gummy vitamins that aren’t included in the retail value of the box.

        • Right? Send your free vitamins to me!

          • I agree! Don’t like the freebie/sponsored item? Donate it, give it to a friend, throw it away, send it to Julia (or me!), just don’t complain about it. It’s a bonus. I’m sure these sponsored items help FFF to keep delivering us their amazing boxes with super high retail value at an affordable price. So I say keep those sponsored freebies coming! 🙂

        • Thank you! Its redic that any one is outraged by a free bottle of vitamins!!! Throw them out if its so stressing in your life. #firstworldproblems

          • Thank you both for inserting some sanity into this terrible injustice.
Although this is definitely not my preferred hair and nail supplement, these will be gone within a couple of days (I like gummy vitamins). Can I be outraged now? Grrrrr.

      • It is something to be careful about with kids around.

My boss’s kid got super sick (went to the hospital) and after a while of searching for the cause, they found out it was because he had eaten an entire bottle for the gummies he liked. There are certain vitamins you can overdose on because they don’t leave your system as fast, and it’s especially bad with a kid and adult gummies since they will have higher concentrations of certain vitamins.

        • I’ve heard of many little ones getting sick from vitamin gummies. My toddler is more than half my height and knows how to and is able to get a step stool/chair to reach things that I put out of her reach. Usually we take to putting medicines out of eyesight (as nothing is truly completely out of reach), but it is better to just not have anything that looks like it could be candy that isn’t in general.

Yes we do stress the importance of things being only for adults, but she’s 3. 3 year olds do not listen all of the time.

        • I wonder if anything in these pills would be harmful (I’ve never heard of a biotin overdose). Multivitamins have iron, which is definitely more concerning to me! Gummies seem especially tempting for children, but I already store my medicine very securely since I have a straight up iron supplement and lots of things I wouldn’t want anyone to accidentally take!

    • They duped you because they sent you an item that you can’t use? What the heck. This outrage is really overblown.

      • I am outraged! I hate free promotional stuff.

        • Give me free things! But they must be vegan, gluten-free, organic, gmo-free, contain no possible allergens, fit into my diet specifications, and taste like self- righteousness.

I hope they’re made by poor women in a third world country!

          • Haha!

          • I may or may not have snorted reading this comment. “Taste like self-righteousness.” Gold!

          • Lmao!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣 Julia you are AWESOME!!! 👏👍💗

        • dying here

      • I agree with you on that. Claiming you were duped into subscribing because you don’t like what is in the box is over the top dramatic!

  17. I am cancelling after this box

    • Why??

    • Byeeee Felicia! more add ons for me next season!!!

  18. I am a pharmacist and just want to make a quick plug that these specific vitamins are not approved by USP, meaning their ingredients are not verified, and the product has not been tested to prove safety or efficacy. Some other Nature Bounty vitamin products are verified, and their facilities are verified, but the specific product in the box is not.
This is not to say they won’t be beneficial in some individuals, but often they contain more sugar than vitamins. Didn’t mean to get anyone down about the product, just felt like sharing some information! (I am definitely excited about the rest of the box 🙂 )

    • I appreciate your input. Also vegans may not like these since they (probably) contain gelatin.

    • I used to take these for thinning hair and I started to feel heart pain after a few weeks. I don’t know how to describe it other than it felt like my heart was full almost like my arteries were clogging. It was awful, but I brushed it off as stress. I stopped taking them and the pain went away after a few days. About a year later I heard a positive review on them and bought them again and the same thing happened so I know it was not a fluke. *I’m not saying it will happen to you, I’m just sharing my experience.*

      • Did you see a doctor? You might have had an allergy to something.

        • Hmm that’s a really good point. I didn’t even consider allergies. I’ll have to check out the ingredients. But it sure has been fun to read all these posts! I’m not trying to be negative (that would be dumb since they are free). 🙂

  19. Yikes! 😳 Looked at the ingredients and the first two non-medicinal ingredients are corn syrup and sugar…..in a vitamin????

    • It’s only one gummy a day- that’s not enough sugar that you need to worry about it (unless you are on a super restrictive diet).

    • I like how two types of sugar are in them. That way they don’t have to tell you the gummies are more sugar than anything else. What junk.

      • Well #1 – having two types of sugar makes it seem like there’s more sugar. I don’t think they’re fooling anyone into eating unhealthily by listing tricky ingredients like sugar and corn syrup lol. #2 if you want to know how much sugar is in something, look at the grams of sugar. The ingredients list is by definition imprecise and the second thing on that list might be like 9% of the product.

It’s a gummy. I don’t care if it’s made with sugar from hand-raised dates that farmers sang to every day. We all know it’s basically candy – a single, very small piece of candy that literally no one should feel bad about eating.

        • But if farmers sang to the dates they’d bring so much more LIGHT to my LIFE!

  20. Yay you put up the spoiler I sent you Liz 😀

  21. All the spoilers have been imho, but this is actually my favorite. I love trying new vitamins!

    • *all the spoilers have been good

      • I agree! Great spoilers. This is one box I will always keep as an annual member.

  22. I’m way more excited about this than the roundie, jewelry, or beach bag. Between this and the lip set I think I’ll be happy enough to justify the cost.

  23. Anyone know if these are gluten free?

    • Wondering the same…I wish they wouldn’t put edible items in these kinds of boxes.

    • According to product information I found simply by Googling the item, they are gluten free. (Walgreens)

  24. I hope there aren’t any more spoilers. I want something to be a surprise.

    • You know you don’t have to read the spoilers 😜

      • We’re only human! How can we resist?

  25. I love that the fit may be the vitamins! This box is turning out to be pretty cool to me.

  26. Vitamins are expensive and I should be taking biotin anyway, so I’m not complaining! This is one item I know I’ll like.

I’d kind of rather get a pill, though. Gummy vitamins are fine until you need to take two or three kinds of vitamins. But I probably take more supplements than the average person, alas…

  27. For anyone who has experience with these: did you notice a difference in your nails? My nails have started to split and peel lately and I’ve been trying to help them out.

    • Yes my nails are strong

    • Oh yes! Just take them consistently and you’ll see a difference!
With the cold weather/constant heaters I have the same peeling issue, so I rub a nail cream in every night and seal it with clear coat and that seems to help!

    • Hi! I went through two entire bottles of this brand, and I found them to be useless. The only supplement that made a noticeable difference to my nails was the brand Elon. They are a little more expensive, but my pathetic nails actually became more durable after taking that particular brand (yes, I took them daily for about a year).
However, I gave up on having good nails naturally, and I now have gel nails (I do them myself at home). I am waiting for some box to feature BioSeaweedGel, as I use their nail-building system and their gellish-type polishes (love them, and they cure in sunlight if you don’t have a lamp).

    • B vitamins help with your hair and nails. You are supposed to take them multiple times a day (they are water soluble, so you pee them out throughout the day), but you can also just up your consumption of vegetables high in B.

Taking those pills can cause your skin to break out (I think it is people who are already acne prone) even if they help your hair/nails. I fall into that group.

      • Great tips, thanks!

  28. the gummies make me want to cancel

    • Those are a sponsored item, aka an add in or extra item verses what we would normally get.

  29. These are not suitable for vegetarians.

    • Vegans won’t like it for sure!

  30. My hair was falling bad even when my hair is healthy it takes a while to grow (thanks dad) I take this vitamins everyday twice a day and in two months my hair is about the size it would grow in a year

  31. I actually take these anyway, so getting an extra 20 day supply for “free” works for me!

  32. Is it weird that this is the spoiler I’m most excited about? I’ve been meaning to buy some of these since I’m trying to get my hair healthy again after a salon disaster but hadn’t picked any up yet so this will save me some cash!

    • I am right there with you, this is my fav spoiler thus far!

  33. My Mom was just telling my this evening that I should add something like this to my supplements routine. And I generally love gummy vitamins. I eat my kids’ vitamins like candy (shhhh. .) Yey!

  34. Favorite spoiler so far. I’ve been meaning to buy some

  35. Glad to get these and happy they sent a whole tube vs a packet sample. We’ll have about 20 days to see if they work!

  36. I really like the idea of receiving vitamins/supplements in this box. Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately, lol!), Biotin is not something I need right now. A bit of poking around online says it might benefit diabetics, so I do have someone in mind to pass it on to.

    • Although I imagine the sugary gummies might not go well with diabetes (type 1 anyway)! I’ve actually never heard that about biotin and I’m pretty curious. 🙂

      • According to the nutritional info on the product page Liz linked, one dose only has 4g of carbs. Not gonna make or break anyone’s diet.

There are a ton of claims about what Biotin can do for the body out there, so I’m very skeptical. But it won’t hurt to try.

        • I’m not worried about them breaking a diet (it’s like 15 calories…). I specifically meant that it might not be helpful for people who very closely need to watch their carb/sugar intake because of diabetes. I have a friend with type 1 diabetes and she probably wouldn’t be able to have these (unless she wanted to eat less actual food), that’s all I meant!

  37. I’m so happy about this… And it’s just a sponsored item jaja I’m using the vitamins and I have left just enough for a week … Was about to buy more and I won’t have too… Fabfitfun just saved me $10 usd wuuuu

  38. I actually just bought these two weeks ago LOL but I am still excited because these are great! My hairstylist recommended these to me months ago and even gave me a bottle and I have to admit I actually have seen a difference in my hair. This box is turning out pretty good so far I’d say!

    • I didn’t even realize this was a sponsor and not just another box component! This is great!

  39. I really hope I don’t get the gummies!

  40. Meh

    • Was thinking about the same thing! – meh!

  41. This box is totally not my style and doesn’t feel fresh and clean like spring does at all. It reads much more like that end of summer hangover where all you want to do is lay on the beach and pretend that September is still months away. Hated last year’s spring box too, the rest of the year was much more my style.

  42. I love the other items, but vitamins are the equivalent of giving boxes of raisins to trick-or-treaters on Halloween.

    • Hey I used to love getting raisins!

    • 😂

    • Jenn, you definitely win the comment of the day. Hilarious.

    • This is actually the only item in the box that I’m interested in so far. The round hippie sheet, mystery costume jewelry, and another lip product are just not doing it for me.

    • I disagree completely! This fits right in with the “Fit” part of the “FabFitFun” name!

  43. FFF always gets the best sponsored items in their boxes! Love that we’re getting this and it’s not even one of the official items. Will probably try to trade for more too, and stock up!

    • Well, mine are up for grabs because I have a corn allergy… which sucks, because I was excited to see this spoiler, and then read the ingredients. :/

      • Whaaaaat?! Me too!!! Never met anyone else allergic to corn!!!

Also, biotin makes me break out, so I had to stop taking the vitamins I was taking before. It’s a shame, because it did work…

        • Maybe it was not the biotin, but the non-medicinal ingredients? I feel like the cheaper vitamins must be using corn starch or something corn derived. 😕

I also have a beef allergy, and that was what tipped me off first – having throat pain for hours after taking Advil (gelatin capsules). Now that I’m no longer eating corn and tomatoes (the third allergen), I can take Advil when needed without extreme discomfort. But when it comes to vitamins it’s vegan, corn-free and preferably either chewable or dissolves under the tongue!

          • Interesting. I am allergic to penicillin and sulfur drugs, but I am the only one of eight kids that had any reason to know about either of theses allergies (I found out when I was admitted to hospital). However, my brother gets a rash when he eats beef, and I think it is the antibiotics that they give the cows that he is allergic to.

          • Seriously, are you me??? I’m allergic to beef too!! I’m doing paleo right now, and I’m finding I can get away with some of the things I’m allergic to in small quantities (like medicines or if a restaurant has corn hiding in a sauce) as long as I stick to the paleo rules. I have 2 nut allergies and 2 greens allergies, too.
Sublingual is the way to go!

        • I find grass-fed beef is ok, so I was thinking it’s all the grains (but antibiotics would make sense, too – I have an allergy to amoxicillin) reg cattle are fed that make it problematic. I’ve seen people in the corn allergy community swear up and down they can tolerate GMO free corn, but I’ve never put that to the test. I can have occasional small amounts of actual corn and be ok – but all the HFCS is the worse, breakouts and wheezy. The plus side is that it kinda forces you to eat healthy when you pretty much can’t eat anything that comes out of a box, bag or can? LOL. I usually try to eat paleo, too. That seems to work best for me, my allergies, and digestive issues. If you’ve not heard of Danielle Walker yet (against all grain) check her out, she’s got several cookbooks and a ton of recipes free online. 🙂

      • Oh no 7ash! Sorry you can’t take them! I will, however, gladly take them off your hands!

  44. I’m not sure how I feel about these. I guess they’re okay. I’m on a special diet where I have to watch the ingredients on everything I eat, I probably won’t be able to have these, but I think my m.i.l. Will Iike them

  45. I need some of these! I’m excited to see the ‘fit’ spoiler =)
