The package came with an information card encouraging you to share on social media, a little information about Dog’s Best Trend’s support of dog rescue efforts, and this month’s designer (Borbala Biro, who has designed several other scarves for Dog’s Best Trend).

There was also this promo card for Adorebox.

Dog Scarf

Here is the scarf for this month. I like the spring colors and the subtle Easter design (see the eggs?).

Some notes: (1) The material is polyester. (That’s why you still see a few wrinkles – I’m afraid to put an iron straight down on it because I don’t want to melt it.) And (2) this is, of course, the “large” dog scarf and the diagonal is plenty long enough even for a thick Rottweiler neck.

Nyx did all right posing this day. I didn’t have help (i.e., my husband to hold her head in place) but I think the photo turned out OK in spite of that. The colors look good against her black fur, too!

Verdict: I did not calculate a value for Dog’s Best Trend. The designs are exclusive, which adds some value, and prices for similar items are all over the place at Etsy, with some costing up to twice as much. Plus, this is a subscription where you know exactly what you are getting every month; only the design is a surprise. If you like to put bandanas or scarves on your dog, this is a fun way to get new ones delivered to your door on a regular basis.

I kinda wish they would mix it up a bit on this sub. A bandana every month isn’t something I’d sign up for. If they rotated bandanas, collars, harnesses, even clothing, etc. – that would pull me in!
(Harnesses might be a stretch for the price point tho)

I don’t think you could meet the price point with anything else. At least not for large dogs. Clothing isn’t practical for an 86 pound dog (plus too much variation in body shape among breeds for a good fit) and a good collar is probably $50.

She is pretty in that scarf. What a great choice.
