  1. $20! Would be more like it or at least a discount promo for the first order it looks nice just not willing to spend $30 for a palette I’m
    Not familiar with $20 yes

  2. $80 value seems a little ambitious. Also, at $30, for $6 you can buy a too faced palette. Doesn’t seem worth it to me, especially with the lack of knowing what you are getting each month.

    • Yeah…I have to admit that I love Too Faced as well (Go Unicorn Tears!).
However, what Deck of Scarlet offers is different to what I have been sent from other subs. The palettes are good quality, and the colors are coordinated so that you can create contemporary looks. I tend to get stuck in makeup ruts, so being nudged out of my comfort zone is good for me. Also, the packaging is gorgeous (not quite LMDB, but definitely high quality).
I am not shy in voicing my opinions when I am disappointed by a subscription, so when a sub exceeds my expectations I feel that I should give the curators credit. I actually look forward to getting my shipments from DoS…and I also love hitting the Too Faced sales when they are on, except I don’t think I will ever find Unicorn Tears on sale.

      • Unicorn Tears is worth paying full price 🙂 It’s among the most beautiful lip colors I’ve ever seen…and I have seen A LOT.

  3. I am loving my palettes. I wouldn’t normally ever buy the colors that they send, so I am surprised that they look fabulous.
    I highly recommend this sub.
