CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-barkThins

barkThins Snacking Chocolate in Dark Chocolate Pretzels & Sea Salt, 2 oz - Value $1.70 (buy a 4.7 oz. bag for $4)

These are dark chocolate chunks with pretzel bits and a hint of sea salt. They're so delicious! I love the dark chocolate and pretzel combination. The pretzel pieces improve the crunchiness. The sea salt gives just a little bit of juxtaposition to the richness of the chocolate. Each piece has a lot of flavor, and they're also surprisingly filling. This bag is supposed to contain one serving size but just 2-3 pieces are enough to tide me over until the next meal.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Larabar

LaraBar Fruits and Greens Strawberry Spinach Cashew Bar, 1.24 oz. - Value $1.25 (buy a box of 4 for $4.99)

Wow. This is the best energy bar I've ever eaten. If all energy bars were as soft, sweet, and scrumptious as this, I wouldn't need to snack on anything else. This fruit and nut bar is made from only 5 ingredients: apples, apricots, cashews, strawberries, and spinach. The bar is dense, soft, and chewy. Needless to say, it's also very filling. I taste the slightly sweet and tart flavors of apples and strawberries as well as the savory, nutty flavors of cashews. There might be a little spinach but I don't really taste it at all. Plus, this bar is gluten free, vegan, kosher, and it has no added sugar.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Tortilla-Chips

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Tortilla-Chips-Closeup

Late July Jalapeno Lime Chips, 5.5 oz - Value $2.99

These tortilla chips have a big crunch. They're lightly salted with a lime kick that sneaks up on your taste buds after a couple of bites. That said, the lime flavor does not overwhelm the rest of the chip at all. I ate these with medium hot salsa and the combination was 10 out of 10!

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Body-Scrub

You Are AMAZING Mango Papaya Exfoliating Body Scrub & Wash, 8 oz - Value $3.99

This is an exfoliating body scrub and wash with a runny gel-like consistency. It smells like a warm, tropical blend of mango and papaya, so much so that it makes my mouth water. It is paraben and phthalate-free, and it contains pumice to gently scrub the body. Despite being finely grounded, the pumice is sufficient to get really satisfying exfoliation. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't lather up, but this is a personal preference.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Face-Towelettes

Alba Botanica Hawaiian 3-in-1 Facial Cleansing Towelettes 10 count - Value $1.83

These cleansing towelettes are designed to be a makeup remover, cleanser, and toner in one! I'm obsessed with the scent-- it's like a tropical blend of coconut and pineapple. The towelettes are not as moist as I expected but they wipe away all my face makeup with no issues. Unfortunately, it doesn't do well against waterproof or eye makeup. I like that it dries to a nearly smooth, matte finish, and I can see this as an alternative to cleanser and toner when I'm feeling super lazy. However, it doesn't make my face feel 100% clean enough to warrant skipping those two steps on an ordinary day.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Hairbands

Cyndibands Fabric Hair Ties 3 pack - Value $3.48

I am always in need of hair ties, and these from Cyndibands do just the trick. I'm digging the fun spring colors! Ever since I transitioned my hair tie collection from the rubber band type to the elastic fabric type, my hair gets fewer creases and I look more hip wearing them on my wrists. It's a win-win situation!

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Sunglasses

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Sunglasses-Closeup-Frames

Nectar IPA Polarized Sunglasses - Retail value $39.99, on sale for $29.99

This pair of sunglasses features a light and dark brown matte tortoiseshell frame with polarized lenses. It also comes with a microfiber carrying cloth. I really like the style and the quality. Unfortunately, the fit is slightly off. I usually have a hard time finding sunglasses wide enough for my temples. This one comes very close but still presses on the temples enough to give me a headache after a while. The earpiece is also a little too long so it doesn't hook over my ears properly. I can see myself making do with these if I can't find my usual pairs, but it probably won't be heavily used.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Temporary-Tattoos

Temporary Metallic Jewelry Tattoos - Value $8.79

Sun's out, guns out! In this case, the guns are perfect for showing off these gorgeous temporary tattoos. These are a perfect addition to music festivals, beach trips, and cruises. The metallic bronze and silver designs have a cute boho vibe, which is just my style. I especially like the triple-layered necklace design. I can't wait to try that out when the weather gets warmer over here.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Coaster

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Coaster-with-Juice

Inflatable Flamingo Coaster - Value $1.50?

This inflatable pink flamingo coaster is probably the embodiment of the carefree spring break attitude. I love it! While it can float on water, I probably wouldn't use it with heavy glass. Plastic tumblers and cups should be fine.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Air-Freshener

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Air-Freshener-Closeup

Pink Flamingo Air Freshener - Value $2.99

This air freshener smells like cherry candy. It's a fun and useful addition to a college care package for sure. My old dorms didn't have the best circulation, so closets and study rooms especially would smell musty. This would have been great for making those places smell a little bit better.

CampusCube-for-Girls-March-2017-Stickers

Vinyl Stickers - Value $2?

In keeping with the tropical, summery theme, these vinyl stickers will definitely brighten up notebooks, water bottles, and laptop covers. How cute is that little pineapple?

Verdict: This is my favorite CampusCube yet! The curation for this month's Cube is impeccable; I really admire the thought and care put into the theme. The snacks are delicious, the skincare items are great, and the lifestyle items are super on-trend. My favorite discovery is the LaraBar (I've already purchased more). The total retail value is about $71 (or $61 using the sunglasses' sale price), which is close to double the cost of the box!

I had to laugh when I saw the flamingo. I do flamingo wars with my neighbor and put a dozen in her hot tub last year when she was out for the day.

I agree, they are one of my favorite protein bars! I don’t think I have ever tried the fruit and veg one but my personal favorite is the cookie dough one! (I rotate bars a lot for college)
