Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream

The caveat with sensitive skin? You want hard-working, yet gentle products. This calming cream was developed specifically to solve redness, blemishes, inflammation, and other irritations. Boosted with centelle asiatica leaf, a medicinal herb found in Asian wetland areas and known for its healing potency, along with Nolsome Capsule, which improves absorption of ingredients, this powerful, repairing formula will have your skin feeling relieved as soon as you put it on.

Number 4™ Jour d'automne Sugar Texturizing Spray

Sugar may not be so great for your diet, but it does wonders for your hair as this texturizing spray's MVP. Formulated with sugar cane molecules, antistatic properties, and flexible styling aids, the spray not only gives you loose, shiny waves, it also nourishes strands. Hair feels soft and the style stays intact even in the face of heat and humidity thanks to flex net resins. Getting perfectly undone, beach babe hair has never been so sweet.

Liz, Birchbox is giving away a thousand of last month’s Draper boxes on Instagram. Not sure where else to put this. Yup, a thousand.

If you sign up to begin in April and use the Draper code do you receive both the March and April boxes? Or just the Draper / March box?

I want the curated box – is this option available only on 3/28?
I don’t see an option to purchase it now lol.

Lauren

The curated box looks good to me. I think I would use everything. I know the samples are small but at least I like them.

I cancelled BB even after they sent me February’s box for free and I still waited patiently to see if anything was better in the March box, it wasn’t. This month confirms it that BB just isn’t what it used to be. I used to love my boxes but that was many moons ago. Oh well, I still have my ipsy and Play to look forward to along with both Spring Walmart boxes on the way. Time to decide what other sub box to replace BB 😉

Was ready to kick Birchbox to the curb but this month, I can’t decide what I want. Dammit!

Caligirl

I was going to do the same thing, and now I am staying. I like that they have mixed up the brands Yes!

shabydonner

Me too! lol. Good play Birchbox, I’ll hang in a bit longer.

Definitely the curated box. I do love a lot of Tocca’s fragrances, so it will be nice to try this one.

I’m not mad about the curated box, somehow I’ve escaped all those items. I was looking forward to trying out the new system that they’ve emailed be about numerous times. I’d love to let it ride and gamble with their choices, but lately it hasn’t been to promising. I like to be surprised and wish I could trust them.

Hey is there any promo codes for signing up this month?

Marissa

PHOTOMATTE for a Smashbox palette!

I will not renew when my sub expires next month. The only sub I’m keeping is Ipsy. I might even double up on that when this expires.

Jeanine

The pillow spray is pointless…so tiny!!! The curated box at least has stuff I will use (and have sampled lol)

Lauren

De’javu all over again…… the curated box is February’s curated box just different stuff of the exact SAME stuff. Both boxes have/had Vastini, BB hair, a face cleanser, a perfume and a lipstick. It kind of surprises me they would replicate Feb. because that curated box was still sitting in the BB shop thru early March. So it didn’t sell too well on its own. Most curated boxes are gone from the shop before the month is up I.e the March box was so good that it was gone in two weeks. Although, the April box might sell better then Feb. since it has the new This is real two toned lipstick and I think a lot of subscribers “including myself” would like to get their hands on that sample. Also, bummed YET again another perfume sample is in the curated box. I don’t mind it too often but it’s only the 4th box of the year….

They should contract out to a few my subscription addiction readers to curate boxes.

SubMommy

They Seriously need either a New CEO or Someone that’s gonna tell her how to run the Box…. they have No Idea at this Point. Same Ol Same Ol….

I cancelled both my BB subs.. Samples are just too small and so many repeats in my boxes! I’d rather a few $20 something monthly subs then a bunch of $10 monthly subs.

Reply ButtonReply

goodboyairline

this confirms that I made the right choice of cancelling my subscription last month. Will not miss BB. i guess their intention’s good but the impact is…. remember intention doesn’t matter. its the impact/outcome that matters..

Reply ButtonReply

Tia F

ALL old samples except the pillow spray – wow guys – you really have lost your groove in the subscription to purchase market!

Reply ButtonReply

Amber

The pillow spray is also a repeat

Reply ButtonReply

Krista

I love a good salt spray, so I’m guessing I’d like a sugar spray too? haha 🙂

But also the curated looks nice.

I bought a full size of the pillow spray last year after I got it as a sample choice and it’s really cool and different. I don’t need another small one since I have the larger one, but I would recommend! 🙂 It smells kinda aromatherapy-ish, herby like essential oils, so if you don’t like that, it’s probably not a great choice.

Reply ButtonReply

Hillary

Wow. I really like the curated box, but I’m also super interested in that pillow spray. Decisions decisions.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie E

I didn’t notice any results from the pillow spray

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I did. It gave me the craziest dreams! So, I had to pass it along to my brother who said he wanted to experience crazy dreams too. Ha!

Amber

I did….So much that my friend and I made our own from essential oils.

Dianne

Looks like good choices but the samples are to small. I like vasanti and Dr. Jart. I might skip this round. I never saw any other options to pay more for different boxes. I get Ipsy, Boxycharm, I might skip Play by Sephora this month also.

I love the Bumble and Bumble Don’t Blow It. I use it daily and it gives a great tousled look to air dry hair. I also spray on some John Freida Sea Waves spray and get a perfect beachy tousled look that is not at all crunchy, just super soft. Anyway, point being I would highly recommended the Don’t Blow sample as I think I paid $35 for the normal size at Sephora and you only need a dime size for medium length hair, so will last a few weeks at least at this size. I do not sub to Birchbox at this time.

Reply ButtonReply

shabydonner

I’m really interested in that as a quick hair trick. I’m crossing my fingers that my box will come a little early next month as I’m going to the beach around the time it normally gets here, and I’d love to have that to take with me.

Reply ButtonReply

Cat

This sample is tiny I’ve had it from somewhere before. On my hair it was maybe two uses max. I grabbed the smaller size at Sephora for $15 and it’s great…the large is $30 I think.

Reply ButtonReply

Cat

Ah, you’re right about length for medium, maybe three or four uses from this tube max. My hair is down to lower back and thicker. 3 uses for medium thickish hair.

Amanda M

What happened with that option we had to sign up for the 4 or 5 extra dollars and choosing a catagory? Do you know when that starts?

Reply ButtonReply

Kandace

I spoke with someone at Birchbox, and she told me that (for yearly subscribers) it should start with the May box. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Reply ButtonReply

Jodi

Wow. Good options this month! Way to go birchbox:)

Reply ButtonReply

Tia F

They *have* to do something since they have cut points for members and are losing customers…not to mention they now have 1 storefront instead of 2. I’m not subscribing for a year – not this time….they changed too many times what I contracted for to do that. Sorry birchbox, You lost this Ace and the money I spent on beauty items too. I have an Ulta and Sephora nearby for samples, a bon ton, a macy’s….ya get the idea. Bad choice in the CEO IMHO.
