Trendy Butler is a men’s apparel subscription. They send out quality items from both brands you know as well as up-and-coming brands. Every delivery is guaranteed to have at least $150+ in value.

If you’re not familiar with Trendy Butler, here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items to keep! This is not a shopping service like Stitch Fix where you pay for whatever items you don’t send back – it’s just $65, and whatever they send is yours forever.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

CHSV Sharp Fit Shirt – Value $112?

FYI, I couldn’t find this shirt for sale online, so I used the price other Cohesive & Co. button down shirts are selling for on their site. I really like this shirt on Luke! It has a great length in the body and sleeves, which can be a challenge for my tall husband. And the shoulders fit perfectly, too. The fabric is lightweight and breathable – honestly, I’m really happy with this shirt.

Dylan George Navy Men’s Jeans – Value $178?

Again, I couldn’t find this specific pair of pants online, and in my searching, I found lots of Dylan George jeans for sale at third parties for discounted prices. But I was able to gather what price point they retail(ed) at, so just a heads up. Anyways, these are super dark wash jeans that look like dress pants! Since my husband prefers jeans but needs dress pants for work, I was so excited to have these for him! Unfortunately, there are some fit issues. Honestly, I think these jeans look incredible on him, but the shirt is shown untucked because the length between the crotch and waistline is just too short. Maybe they’re supposed to be super low-rise? The waist fits him fine around but there just wasn’t enough room for him to have them sit at his hips.

Verdict: I love this month’s Trendy Butler picks, and I’m really happy with the fit of the shirt. Both Luke and I are super bummed the pants won’t work for him, though. When we first signed up they didn’t have jeans in the 32x34 or 34x34 that Luke needs and all he wears is pants, so I am super excited that they are sending pants in my husband’s size now! The value (at original retail pricing) adds up to $290, which is obviously amazing for a $65 subscription. The way I generally look at your personal value of this box is if you would spend $65 or more (the cost of the box) on the items you get, I’d count it as a win. It feels great to have my husband get and wear high-quality menswear from this subscription!
