The Bookish Box Subscription Review + Coupon – February 2017
The Bookish Box is a book-inspired subscription box from the online shop, Appraising Pages.
Unlike other book boxes, this one doesn’t come with a book. Instead, it’s filled with non-book items aimed at literature lovers. Items include a t-shirt, bookmarks, and other goodies for those who like to read. (They now have a subscription option to include a book!)
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
This review is of the Women’s Sized, $29.99 a month, box.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower T-Shirt – Retail Listed Value $28
(This tee is listed with a retail value of $28, but most of the shirts from Appraising Pages retail for $20.)
It’s a Fruit of the Loom, 100% Cotton, heavy cotton tee, with a custom print from Appraising Pages.
Drop and Give Me Nerdy Mug – Value $15
This mug is a quote from The Raven Boys. I’ve read the first three books of the series, so this is a good reminder to finish the series and read the fourth book!
Fangirl Nerd Glasses – Value $8
This is such a cute accessory for a book box! It’s about 1.5 inches across, and it has a clasp, but it is long enough to easily pull over your head.
Lexy Olivia Anne of Green Gables Bookmark – Value $8
This bookmark is made with a pink watercolor wash, and hand done calligraphy.
Jar of Buttons Best Book Friends Pin Set – Value $4.50
This matching set is perfect for the Galentine’s day theme!
Verdict: I thought this was a well-done Galentine’s Day Bookish Box. Lot’s of great friendship items, and exclusives, too. I’m not sure I always would pay the retail price listed for these items, but to me, it’s worth its $29.99 price tag. The book that came with the box this month is
And if you are interested in this box + a book, the book that came with the box this month is A List of Cages.
