I recieved a full size Smashbox contouring palette, Dior cream or serum, Clinique neck and face lifting lotion serum, and Giorgio mascara and cute makeup bag ever. So worth it. One full size, two deluxe samples and one tiny sample. No ugly colors in lip or foundation. Really nice brands. Would buy again.

Such a high chance of getting foundation colors that don’t suit you, lipstick shades you dislike, or perfume samples… Pass.

Such a high chance of getting foundation/concealer colors that don’t match you, or lipstick colors you dislike, or perfume samples… Pass. Between ipsy and Lip Monthly, I have more pretty cosmetics bags than I’ll ever use.

I have bought several mystery bags from them and have alwaus been very happy…great brands and products and they have been a great value. I couldn’t get the coupon code to work but still ordered a premium size mystery box.

Luminoussoul, I love your name! I really liked my premium and small.size mystery bags. Got samples of lots of really high end products. Did you like yours? Also the pouches were adorable too.

Julie B,

I also ordered a couple of these even though I’m not currently a member. I even used my $10 off credit from my previous member points. Then I noticed they made the page available only to members. The charge went through. I wonder if they will still allow the purchase.

I use to be a member off and on but not at the moment. I bought one. A small one. Did anyone get their long email the other day? I didn’t know what to make of it. Some parts I understood but at one point it sounded like they may close and then at the end it didn’t….???

I also received the email and read the whole thing! I am not even a member weirdly. It was way too long and I still had no idea the meaning of the letter. The last line basically summed everything up… I think.

Omg- I just signed up for 3 months. What did it say???

I wanted to be sympathetic at first when I started reading, but it just left a really unprofessional taste in me. I’m glad the owner is seemlingly working it out and her business is still alive, but we, as consumers, don’t need to know every last detail of her thought process. It was like a letter addressed to a friend!

After the rambling email that the owner/founder sent out on Monday, I am a bit concerned about this company. I wonder if they are liquidating?

I didn’t get this email. But I placed an order this week for a FS product and it was in stock and is on its way. So I think they are doing fine. These mystery bags are unrelated to the So Choix samples or the FS purchases, I think they are just extra things So Choix ends up with during the purchasing process from the brands they work with.

Is the code now working for anyone else? I tried entering it on the checkout page. am I doing something wrong?

Not working for me either

I was able to enter it when I checked out earlier this morning but it looks like it may have been deactivated :/

I don’t really understand this. Correct me if I’m wrong but can’t you choose five samples for $15 a month? Why on Earth would you pay the same price for random stuff that they have left over?

It’s actually very much worth it in my opinion. I’ve bought several of these now, and they’ve included things like Clinique foundation stick, Bobbi Brown rouge, Burberry, Laura Mercier, cle de beaute primers and creams and mini lipsticks that are very generous, not at all like regular so choix sample sizes. If you’re willing to pay $10 for an ipsy or BB , this is so worth it to try higher end brands. The cosmetic bags are unnecessary to me, but when I got a Premium once it was a gorgeous one!

Yes, you receive 5 samples, but I wouldn’t call them “deluxe samples” as they are described as 1-2 uses. They are small and repackaged. I’m confused by this though because if they repackage all the products, where are the deluxe samples coming from? Are they original manufacturer packaging? Not enough info for me, as a member, to pull the trigger.

I bought one of these in December. The deluxe samples are not the repackaged samples you get in the monthly box. They are in manufacturer packaging and are the sorts of things you’d get with Sephora points or in a GWP from Ulta in terms of size. I don’t remember everything I got but there was a nice Clinique loose powder that lasted a few weeks for me.

It says mystery bags are reserved for members only. 👎

That seems like such a lost opportunity to me. Like if you wanted to attract new customers, I feel like letting newcomers buy a mystery bag without signing up would be a great way to welcome them to your company.
