I’m really confused and quite frankly pissed. Why are they trying to charge my card on February 15??? This is a box more than likely going to be delivered middle or late March. PLUS I never received an email regarding choice of earrings…i.e.Happy Rebel box who lets subscribers choose their preference by sending a friendly email.

I just got charged a SECOND TIME for the Spring box, too. I am pissed as I’m getting ready to take a trip this weekend and now I’m $100 short because of this. I wish I’d never signed back up. Point noted, lesson learned. I thought they had a chat line feature but of course that is not there now when I need to contact them asap. Good God.

ETA to my last comment lol, I have received the money back from the double charge within minutes of blowing up the BOS email system :). So that is such a RELIEF!! I’m still canceling before the next box and I’ll only resubscribe if I’m sold on the “hero/but no longer called hero” item. Just a head’s up for anyone else getting double charged as it appears to be an issue right now, hopefully you’ll get your situation resolved quickly, too!

A head’s up, I got an email that the second charge was a mistake *obviously but what ev. And that I’ll get the money back in 7-10 business days. God bless it all. This is completely unacceptable, I have had a similar situation with another company that does vinyl subscriptions and there was a double charge that was My Fault and they reversed it Immediately and I got the money back That Day. So having to wait for a week for the money to come back to me, something is not right there. Don’t know what kind of business runs the BOS but it sucks to high heaven. Love the products, save for that Fall box last year, but I cannot stand to have to deal with these problems with subscription services at all.

I tried to cancel in Dec. (And assumed I had) but was just charged $350. Super nice. And all I can do about it is submit another request through their system. And as soon as it posts, dispute the charges. I am not happy.

Ugh! So, I got my email to choose my earrings this weekend. I have tried 6 times! It says annual subscribers choose first, “Click here to customize your box”…so I click…and it tells me Oops! You must be a subscriber to choose. Except I AM a subscriber. An annual subscriber. I am paid up through the summer box. I have emailed and tried contacting them via facebook, but I cannot get it to work. I hope they just haven’t turned on the link yet or something. I want the gold earrings! I used to be such a silver person, but I know I would never wear them unless they were the gold ones. :/

I’m having the exact, same problem with the same error. I’m also an annual subscriber, paid through Fall 2017. I sent the Zoe peeps a note, so I’ll wait. I’m sure it’s just a glitch. I went back and forth on color, but I’m hoping to chose gold also. I’ll check back in here if I hear back. 😊

I never have heard back. I have tried a few times a day. I actually sent another message today letting them know I am disappointed in the failure to respond (I sent an email, posted on the Facebook wall, and sent a message in messenger, as it said they generally respond in an hour — nothing). It miraculously started working AFTER I pointed out that they had never responded to any of my inquiries.
Both colors were still showing available – probably because nobody could select their color…I would try the link again.

I subscribed but can’t find where to choose the color of earrings I prefer. Has anyone already chosen their color? With all of the discussion, I can’t tell if people are ‘saying’ what color they prefer or if the option to choose is actually up yet. Please let me know if you know! Thanks!

I selected my color this afternoon after days of it not working. They sent the link on Sunday, but it did say annual subscribers had the first opportunity. I am an annual subscriber, but the link they sent wouldn’t work for me until this afternoon. It kept saying that option was only open for subscribers and asking me to subscribe. It finally worked this afternoon, so maybe they will open it up for all soon…or maybe it is still messed up and will work for everyone now.

The Zoe Team didn’t release tht option yet. Usually, an email will be sent to you indicating thar you can now pick with a link taking you to the spot on the Box of Style account site. Clearly I’m in the minority here, but I’m just not feeling that purse! While I’m sure it’s high quality, I agree with the person who said it looks like something from Target, and I don’t like the look of the brown straps and dark bottom with it. And, while I think the earrings are nice, I don’t have pierced ears. Combining my ho-hum feeling about the spoilers with the HORRENDOUS customer service problems I experienced with them for the Winter box (difficulty signing up.Major website glitches/my account not recognized/no response to MULTIPLE emails over several weeks until I repeatedly had to call them out publicly on Facebook/said they’d overnight it,didn’t; finally got it 2 months later, and am STILL waiting on my 2nd box!)…and I’m SO done with Box of Style. It’s just not worth the major hassles.

It’s definitely, 100% the Marc Jacobs up all night set. If you look closely you can see the tassel and the lipsticks. It looks gorgeous!
Maybe the person who runs the beauty division of Marc Jacobs is a woman?
Anyway, they look phenomenal. I’m a little tired of lipsticks since she’s sent some in the last two boxes, but this set looks amazing!
Or, maybe it’s just a red herring and it’s not in the box after all. Who knows.
I hope we all get the navy/brown bag! Love those colors. Earrings are awesome too. This may be the best box yet!

I can now even see the words Marc Jacobs and the lipstick cases look like his lipsticks.. I would love the Up All Night set. I don’t understand why they would include in the video. There must be a reason if it is one of the things in the box. I guess we shall see!

So the purse is not ‘big.’ It’s 12×14. The Tribe Alive website has some ‘big’ bags that look similar, but the demensions are 14×18, quite a bit larger. I would personally prefer the larger bag, but still happy with the ‘standard’ size purse. I was pretty disappointed with incredibly small size of the brown leather purse a few boxes back. It really looked bigger in all the photos. I was so surprised to get such a tiny purse with such a long strap. (I swapped for it, swappers remorse, ha!) Hope everyone understands the actual size so you can be happy with your decision to buy, skip, or swap.

You’re totally right. I wondered that at first but then I was thinking it didn’t make sense with the theme. It’s definitely the Up All Night set, though, because I watched again and can see the bullet packaging and tassels on the edge of the case (barely). They must have used a random set of items in this promo to make sure they didn’t give anything away.

In the video Rachel says that all the products are from female founded companies so I don’t think it is the Marc Jacobs set. Another poster said it looks like Bite Beauty…which would be awesome!

If I recall they sent out an email stating something about they will no longer have hero items due to the success of the non hero items such as the Sunday Riley in the winter box. I tried to find it but I clear out my email regularly and I don’t still have it.

Thanks!! Maybe you’re right. I was thinking they might be using a new marketing strategy. I was wondering when they will tell the value of each item as well. I didn’t love the double spoiler. I only wanted to know the hero then be surprised. Oh well, still happy here.

So I could be wayyyy off but there’s a pink tin with lipstick sized items in it in the first few seconds of the video when Rachel describes the box theme. I’m wondering if it is a bite beauty set. They are HUGE this year and usually package in colorful tins…I am just not sure if they’ve set their products inside the tin on foam or not (and it kind of looks like the product is held in by foam.) Could be a special set for RZ?
