Quaintly & Co. is a monthly subscription box of “quintessentially products designed by skilled artisans from all over the Isles.”

Each month, you’ll receive U.K. home, kitchen, beauty, and craft items. According to the site, the boxes tend to have a feminine slant to them but do offer products suitable for men, too. This month’s theme is “Sherlock”. Awesome!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This review is of the Quaintly & Co Classic, $29.00 a month, box.

Let’s start with this small card. I love the pinkish-red font.

The card has info on how to win a free gift by engaging with Quaintly & Co. on social.

Onto the rest of the box!

On the back of the info card, there’s a list of everything you’ll find inside the box.

Sherlock Cushion Cover – Listed Value $19.89

This exclusive design from Bookishly features a classic Sherlock quote set over what looks like a page taken right out of the book.

This pillowcase is made of what feels like a sturdy cotton weave (there wasn’t a tag to check for composition). There’s a white zipper hidden under a fold on the top edge. It looks like it’s a standard 18″ square.

Wouldn’t this look great sitting in your favorite reading chair?

London Map Scarf from Lisa Angel – Value $17.40 USD

This lightweight scarf was listed as being 16 GBP (or $19.89) on the info card, but at the time this review was written, the Lisa Angel site listed it at 14 GBP (or $17.40). Just FYI!

I really love this lightweight scarf. It’s floaty and semi-sheer, but with all of its volume (the Lisa Angel site says it’s 100 cm x 180 cm) it ends up being surprisingly warm.

The scarf has a slight yellow-beige color, just like an old, antique map might have. The map design is printed primarily with fine black lines, but there are lots of little pops of blue, red, and yellow details.

Sherlock Crown Decal – Listed Value $1.86

This giant sticker was made exclusively for this box. It’s waterproof, which means you can treat it almost like a bumper sticker.

I like how the uneven ink makes the print feel old and austere.

Bookmark – Listed Value $5.59

I love this cutout bookmark! The union jack design is awesome.

It’s made of metal, making it a durable pick for a bookmark.

Verdict: In this $29.00 box, you get almost $45.oo worth of items, which is a great value. The theme was really cute, and I think the items in the box mirrored it well. I wasn’t as impressed with the bookmark and decal, but the scarf was an awesome, high-quality find that I was so happy with. Overall, I’ve been enjoying this U.K. box a bunch, and I’m excited to see what they have up their sleeve for next month!

  1. I hadn’t heard of this box before, but oooh that scarf! I’m not a huge scarf fan, but yes. Also the bookmark.

  2. Beautiful scarf. Just ordered one.

  3. What a gorgeous unique scarf. I am going to look for one now… Lol.. To cute.

    • Isn’t it awesome? I’m so picky with scarves. This one is comfy and neutral enough to go with a lot of outfits, but the pattern and pops of color give it just enough pizzazz. Love! Thanks for commenting, everyone!

  4. I love that scarf!

  5. I’m not even a huge Sherlock fan but that pillow cover is adorable!
