Orglamix is a vegan and cruelty-free beauty subscription containing loose shadows, glitter pigments, aromatherapy roll-ons, and more. Many of the items in the subscription will be unique to the subscription and not available in the Orglamix shop (although they will have the same great formula).
They are now doing custom box prints every month and they’re quite pretty.

The box came with an information card detailing the items for February. The theme was “Get Your Glow On.”
Pink Himalayan Rose Solar Salt Mineral Soak – Listed Value $14
You can use this in a full bath or just soak your feet. (My feet needed some TLC so I did the second, just in a bowl of warm water because I don’t have a proper foot bath.) I found it pretty relaxing and will hopefully get a chance to try it in a full bath this weekend. You can scoop the product out into the little baggie and keep the rose petals from going down the drain. Although, there aren’t that many rose petals. This has a scent, but it’s not wholly a heavy rose scent, so you may like it even if you’re not a fan of rose.
Buffing Brush –Value $15
You know, despite the fact that these have been making the rounds for a year or more, this is the first one I’ve received. It is very soft and the bristles are densely packed. I used it to apply the shimmering skin perfector this morning although I am reserving judgment until I use it with a more pigmented product.
Pink Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector (4g) – Listed Value $18
This is described in the booklet as a highlighter. Despite how pigmented it looks here, it is pretty light on my skin (not necessarily a problem since I am pale). Even though it says “shimmering,” I am finding it fine for a daytime look because the effect is subtle. This blends well.
Pink Champagne Natural Eyeshadow (2.5 g) – Listed Value $12
You will often get a loose powder eyeshadow in this subscription (or sometimes more than one). The shades are usually exclusive and not available in the Orglamix shop. This one is great for a neutral look. I tend to go bold with lipstick so I like to keep my eyes more subtle most of the time. This stays put (over primer) and blends with other loose powders nicely.
Glisten Lip + Cheek Gelee (2.5 g) – Listed Value $18
This is a cheek color for me since I don’t really like applying lip colors with my fingers. The good news is, despite how bold this looks in the container, it applies with not too much pigment (I am the palest foundation shade so I have to be super careful with cheek colors). You can build the color, to a degree, but this seems best suited to people with lighter skin tones.
Here are swatches of this month’s makeup products. From top to bottom, the eyeshadow, lip + cheek gelee (a thick layer), and the shimmering skin perfector (wide swatch at the bottom of the photo, kind of hard to see here).
Verdict: I calculated a value of $77 for the February Orglamix subscription box. Of course, four of the items were not available in the Orglamix shop, so I had to rely on the information card for the values. However, I feel comfortable in stating that the value exceeds the cost of the subscription. If you like Orglamix products and want some exclusive colors and formulas, this could be a good subscription for you. I also wanted to point out that this month’s colors were subtle and good for a natural look, even a daytime/office type look.
Note: if you are thinking of subscribing, look at several months of past reviews. This was a pretty makeup-heavy month. Other months will focus on skincare or fragrances (or a little of both).
