Big changes to the Nerd Block subscription for 2017! The items are now selected across a theme, with new packaging and a mini magazine! This month’s theme was Time Travel.

The booklet includes stories and information – including a list of all the items in the box.

As always – you’ll get a $10 credit to their eStore – mine is free to the first reader to use it!

Doctor Strange Shirt – Value $15?

This month’s exclusive shirt features Doctor Strange! It’s a straightforward graphic of Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange – and is timed nicely with the digital release of the movie – I was so happy to get to watch this a second time!

Nerd-Block-February-2017-0026

Futurama Socks – Value $10?

This month featured an exclusive pair of Futurama socks.

These are all-over-print socks featuring characters from the show – it’s Hypnotoad! I’m always happy to get socks recently – these are a bit thin and tight, though, they also have not extra heel padding, which I found a tad bit odd.

Total Rickall Card Game – Retail $14.99 – but it’s sold out and reselling for $50+ on Amazon + Exclusive Cards

The next item is your very own Total Rickall card game.

Nerd-Block-February-2017-0022

Nerd-Block-February-2017-0024

The card game is based on the Total Rickall episode of Rick and Morty – which is definitely in my top 5 favorite episodes!

Nerd-Block-February-2017-0025

Nerd Block’s exclusive edition includes 3 exclusive character cards.

Stargate SG-1 Beanie – Value $10?

You’ll get a Stargate SG-1 beanie with pom pom.

Nerd-Block-February-2017-0020

It’s got an image of a Stargate opening up to the pyramids.

Nerd-Block-February-2017-0016

Frank Chip Clip – Value $5?

You’ll get an exclusive chip clip from Donnie Darko featuring Frank.

The chip clip has a magnet backing, too, along with creepy Frank.

Delorean License Plate Pin – Value $5?

The final item is a Back to the Future Part 2 pin! It features the 2015 Delorean license plate – unfortunately, our license plates don’t look this cool yet, and now we’re past the movie timeline!

Verdict: The Rick and Morty Card Game is sold out everywhere and only available for resale, so the value should be considered pretty high – and who doesn’t want to play through that episode! I’m liking the shirt, socks, and pin this month too – so overall, it’s a pretty strong box for my personal fandoms!

  1. Received my box today and while liked the items, it felt little bit of the letdown on a strong start of 2017 with last box. Might give away a few of items out of the box to friends at work.

  2. OMG, there WAS a Stargate item!

  3. I signed up for 3 months of this box based on last month’s awesome box with the Stark Industries whiskey glasses and whiskey stones. This looks like another great box — so far this year, for me Nerd Block is running circles around Loot Crate!
