Morpheme-February-2017-Booklet

This month’s theme is “Be My Valentine.” Morpheme sent a sticker and info card to learn more about their company, along with a 10% off coupon. MorpheMe is offering a new feature that will allow subscribers to trade in your brushes for a different set.

I also received this booklet describing the Gunmetal Collection brushes included.

Morpheme-February-2017-G33

G-33 Angled Buffer – Value $8.99

This synthetic brush is intended for my under-eye area, inner corners of my eye as well as applying translucent powder. I felt the brush was too stiff and wide for my eye area. I think it’s better suited for contouring and applying powder.

Morpheme-February-2017-G34

G-34 Mini Round Buffer – Value $8.99

This synthetic brush is great for buffing out my foundation or concealer. It’s the perfect shape for many make-up applications.

Morpheme-February-2017-G36

G-36 Round Powder – Value $13.99

This synthetic brush is softer than the other brushes and makes for an effortless application of my powder make-up.

I opted for a natural look using this month’s brushes, the flawless beauty sponge, and last month’s MB19 Oval Lip Brush.

Verdict: I enjoy receiving MorpheMe! I’m slowly learning and having fun using my monthly brushes. If you have any tips that have been useful, I would love to know! This month’s brushes have a value of $31.97, which falls just above their guarantee. It may seem excessive to have so many brushes, but if you are dedicated to your makeup ritual, it’s good to switch out your brushes often and have a variety on hand. Check out their brush care tips for keeping your brushes like new.

  1. I love reading your reviews of these! I own a lot of brushes, some morphe and I’m always looking to add to my collection so seeing the review on the individual brushes helps me decide which to buy next. Thank you for your review and always being honest too about what works and what doesn’t.

  2. I want to get this subscription because the value is great but eventually brushes will takeover, I would think.

  3. Those brushes look neat. Thanks for the review.

  4. Can you tell me if Morphe brushes are scratchy on your face when applying? I like these, but I’ve heard Morphe brushes are scratchy.

    • It depends on the brush as far as the ones I have. Some of the brushes from the Elite collection are really really great quality.

  5. Thank you so much, lovely! Really enjoyed the review, and your look is amazing! My only request would be to maybe take a picture of the brushes by a ruler or other common item for scale? I am having a tough time guessing size. A common problem I have with online brush shopping 😏

    • JesH, Thanks for the kind words and yes that is a good idea and will work into an upcoming review.

  6. You did a really good job with your natural look, it’s excellent. I am definitely going to sign up. I like these brushes.
