Feeling Smitten Mini Sweetheart Cupcake Bath Bomb – Value $5.50
This is a little bath bomb that looks just like a mini cupcake! It smells super sweet and yummy. To use, you just take off the wrapper and drop it in your bath.
The icing is also a handmade sugar scrub to go with it. I think that’s brilliant and adorable.
Jersey Shore Spa Organic Anti-Aging Whole Body Balm - 0.56 oz, Value $45
This body balm is interesting, and a fun discovery! It can be used pretty much any way you can think of – hands, cuticles, face, hair (fly-aways), conditioning lashes and brows, elbows, general body moisture, you name it. It’s also all-natural, petroleum-free, paraben-free, petrochemical-free and USDA Certified Organic. So far I’ve used it on my fly-aways and dry knuckles and I like it, but I think I’ll need some more time before deciding if I’d actually personally spend $45 on it. I love a good multi-tasking beauty product and am looking forward to trying this a lot more.
Dark Chocolate Dipped Graham Cracker from Crave Artisan Chocolate – Value $4
I think this is the most delicious chocolate-covered graham cracker I have ever had. The dark chocolate was so rich and the texture of the creamy chocolate and crunchy cracker was just perfect.
I had high expectations from this because it sells for $4! It was amazing (and pretty), and I kind of want a ton more – it’s just a pricey treat, which made me appreciate getting it in a box all the more.
Isaac Jacobs International Brass Locket Photo Frame – Value $16?
I couldn’t find this exact frame anywhere online, so my value is pretty much a guess based off of other Isaac Jacobs International photo frames for sale online, though I didn’t find any other brass ones so that’s where most of the estimating comes into play. That being said, this little frame is sweet. It has a locket mechanism so it opens completely to put your picture in. This would fit a typical wallet-sized picture.
The frame opens up when you unlock the little latch on the side, by just sliding it upwards.
Here it is open all the way. I think this is really pretty and a nice little décor piece.
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Red Hibiscus Lip & Cheek Rouge – Value $30
This rouge balm is my favorite discovery in the box! It’s a gorgeous color and it has way more pigment than I expected!
I thought this would go on more sheer, but this is actually almost opaque! And it has a fine, subtle, metallic finish. I haven’t tried this on my cheeks yet (you’ll need a light hand for application and blending on cheeks), but I have worn it on my lips the last couple days.
Here’s how it looks on lips! I love it, especially because I find myself drawn to lip products that aren’t matte lately.
Verdict: This was a fun Mommy Mailbox! My first impression of the box was a little underwhelmed because the products are all smaller items, but the value is honestly fantastic, totaling up to about $100 - $84.50 without including my value guesstimate for the frame. All in all, I’m happy.
