ToGo Ware Bamboo Utensil Set – value: $12.95
This month, Mighty Fix sent me a bamboo utensil set! And it comes in a great carrying case made of recycled plastic bottles.
The case has a strong velcro closure and a metal clip to attach to your bag, bag, or backpack!
This set of bamboo-ware won’t stain or absorb flavors, is made of sustainable materials, and promote a zero waste lifestyle! I love that the packaging talks about how this set naturally goes along with your travel mug, glass/reusable water bottle, and reusable shopping bags! When I send my husband’s lunch with him to work I am guilty of packing him plastic-ware. He always brings back the container for his food and now he can bring these back too.
This set contains a knife, fork, spoon, and chopsticks. I think the design of each one is great and feels nice in your hand and in use. They’re lightweight but sturdy, and I like how the chopsticks have a subtle twist in them.
I’m really happy with this set – the quality is really nice and disposable silverware is definitely an area I hadn’t thought about.
The Verdict: I always seem to be happy with my Mighty Fix subscription, and my February box is no exception. I got something that inspires me, even more, to live with zero waste and that I can get use out of just about every day! As far as value goes, the value is more than the cost of the box, and for something this practical and spot-on for me I’m happy!
