1) Dream On Tote Bag, Kenya (Retail $25)

Globein-february-2017-0017

This tote is lovely! It’s completely lined canvas on canvas, so it’s much sturdier than your typical canvas tote bag.

It is bigger than a standard tote, too. It measures about 16 by 18 inches.

And each tote’s tag includes the name of the person who made it!

Dream Journal, India (Retail $12)

Globein-february-2017-0014

This journal has a metallic gold pattern on the cover – it’s gorgeous!

And the pages are blank:

(The notebook measures 5 by 7 inches and is a perfect small size to keep your tote, backpack, purse, etc.)

Dessert Bowl, Tunisia (Retail $12)

(Designs and colors will vary.)

Globein-february-2017-0008

These bowls are hand painted ceramic and dishwasher and microwave safe! I’ve received many pieces similar to this one thanks to GlobeIn and I love my little Le Souk collection! (Dishwasher safe + beautiful = my go-to plates!)

Palm Leaf Pouch, Mexico (Retail $12)

GlobeIn always includes baskets in their boxes. You can usually request a different basket shape, or sometimes they allow you to opt for a non-basket item instead.

Here it is with some beauty items to give you a better sense of scale:

Lastly, my box didn’t have this item but all subscribers will also receive this GlobeIn greeting card:

GlobeIn Greeting Card (Retail $3)

This card seems perfect for the holidays, and it’s blank inside, too.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $64. I think that’s a good value for a subscription box that focuses on fair trade and giving back. I really love all the items included in this box too – everything feels special.

What do you think of the February 2017 GlobeIn Artisan box?

FYI – In January and February GlobeIn had sourcing issues – not every subscriber was able to get this box. Check out this post to learn more about the issues and what’s coming up in March.

  1. I don’t normally love totes, but I really like this one if anyone is interested in swapping. 🙂

  2. Has anyone received there club box or a tracking number yet?

    • Yes, I got mine a few days ago. Did you login and check your subscription settings to see if there was a tracking number? I don’t remember if I actually got it in an email this time but it’s usually shown in your account for a few weeks.

      • Thank you for a quick responds. Yes, I have checked and there is no information on a tracking number. I still have not received mine. I do know they charged me. I will give it a couple of more days. Would you share information on what they sent?

  3. I’m excited for this box! I love the greeting cards they send – I actually cut the front off of them and put them up on one of the walls of my cube at work for some inspiration! 🙂

  4. I am getting Love box this month. This box is no appealing to me. Hopefully, next month it would be better and I can skip this box and receive March box (if it won’t be sold out)
