This month’s theme is “Awake.”

Morihata Binchotan Charcoal Face Scrub Towel – Value $10.50

Craftly-february-2017-0009

This washcloth has one side for exfoliating, and a softer side for washing your face:

And it is infused with charcoal for natural antibacterial properties and to help absorb oil. (It’s washer safe, too.)

Plus Ultra Toothbrush – Value $6.95

Craftly-february-2017-0020

I love the “Hello Gorgeous” text on this brush!

The toothbrush is made with bamboo and nylon bristle. (The bamboo has antibacterial qualities that protect from germs and mold.)

David’s Toothpaste – Value $8

Craftly-february-2017-0018

We’ve received this toothpaste before in subscription boxes, and I really like both the packaging design and the ingredients!

The formula is made without sulfates, fluoride, artificial colors, or preservatives.

And they include a metal tube designed to help you squeeze out every last drop of toothpaste!

The Rich + Clean New Standard Face Wash – 2 oz Value $6

This cleanser is a perfect fit for the “Awake” theme – the minty fresh scent definitely woke me up! It’s a foaming cleanser made with natural and organic ingredients, and it didn’t dry my skin out – I will definitely use every last drop of this sample!

August Uncommon Tea Outlaw Strong Black Tea – Value $4

Craftly-february-2017-0012

This tea is made with a blend of lapsang souchong smoked tea, assam tea, south indian black tea, german morello cherry, and flavoring.

Craftly-february-2017-0013

It’s a strong tea, and the cherry flavor really stood out to me. It’s a little too bold for my taste, but it was a unique tea to try.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $35. I was disappointed to see the value under the $40-$50 average Craftly promises, but I loved the theme and products this month. This box is really a great way to start your day, and I appreciate the minimalist design throughout, as well.

What do you think of the February Craftly box?

  1. August tea is amazing! Although I’ll admit I’m not personally a fan of Outlaw. That cleanser sounds really nice, too.

  2. Thanks for this review. This was my first Craftly box, and while I liked everything in it, I was a little underwhelmed at the value. I’m going to keep at it for a few more months and see how it goes. I got everything you did except I got the tea variation — a green tea with pineapple undertones. Haven’t tried it yet, but it certainly sounds interesting!
