I love how the information cards have custom artwork every month. And the back has more information about the items in the box,

Note: Pretty much every item in this box is exclusive so I have taken the values from the information card.

Links of Love Kitty Necklace – Listed Value $29.99

This is delicate and totally my taste. I will wear it often. It measures 15-18" and has a chain extender. The rose gold and silver cat links would also look good layered with some of my other necklaces.

Kitty Cat Backup Charger – Listed Value $13.99

This is pretty cute. And I can understand why it would be a big hit for a lot of people. There are two ports you can plug your USB cords into. I don’t have a smartphone or tablet, though, so I will probably pass it on to someone who can get more use out of it.

cat-lady-box-february-2017-rug

Teddy Bear Rug – Listed Value $24.99

This is a little bit of a strange inclusion for Cat Lady Box, to be honest. It is small and similar in size to an unstuffed plush toy. On the other hand, Angus thought it was pretty awesome as a toy, and it was fun to watch him play with it (even if that was not the intended purpose).

Purrfect Play Love Dice – Listed Value $5.99

Choco-Nip Strawberry with Catnip – Listed Value $4.99

If you get the Crazy Cat Lady version of the box, you will get a few toys for your cat(s). Lately, they have been custom toys. These two are great for the Valentines Day theme and all the cats showed at least a little interest, though Angus played with them the most. (At the age of 10 months, he has the most energy, though. The others range from 8 to 12 years and are not quite as playful as they used to be.)

Gratuitous cat photo time.

Angus investigates!

cat-lady-box-february-2017-angus2

Angus really liked the rug.  Shortly after I snapped this, he attacked it.

Action shots of Angus with the strawberry toy. I have a good camera now and he was still too fast for it.

And FINALLY, he sits still for a minute.

cat-lady-box-february-2017-madison1

Madison is not such a fan of Angus. But I did manage to get one picture of him.

Monkey sniffs the strawberry.

Sneaky rubs her chin on a toy.

And Mr. Kitty rubs his chin on a toy. He is doing much better after his eye surgery.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $79.95 for the February 2017 (Crazy) Cat Lady Box. I did have to take all those values from the information card, but even if you consider the prices of some items to be inflated, I still think you are getting your money’s worth. This specific box was not the biggest hit for me, personally, but overall, I am definitely still a fan of Cat Lady Box.

I love reading your reviews Ragan, and I love your kitty photos! I feel like I know your cats and their personalities, through your stories and your photos. They are all adorable. I’m glad to meet Angus (his name suits him), and I’m so happy Mr. Kitty is doing better … he’s such a sweetheart (as they all are).

I get several cat subscription boxes, so I always am excited to read your reviews. I love Cat Lady Box. I love the little rug, as do my kitties. I think it’s meant to be like a little cat-version of a sheepskin or bearskin rug that humans might lay in front of their fireplace. You know how see such decor in magazines, or pictures of ski lodges … I would never want a rug from a real animal, but this is a fun, cozy version for the cats. I think it’s a very creative idea!

I put my rug in front of the fireplace, and my two kitties checked it out. My older boy loved to sleep on it with his head between the ears, like another reviewer said.

I also love the necklace a lot, the battery charger is so cute – another unique item from Cat Lady Box – and the toys are a hit with my babies!

My cat is a big fan of the mini bear rug. She likes to rest her head between its ears.

I’ve been wanting to get this box for a while and I finally signed up last month, so this was my first box. I was a little disappointed/confused by the weird rug thing. If they had included it as one of the cat toys/items that would have made more sense for me. I don’t know what they expected me to do with that. I’m just using it as a blanket for them to lay on.

That necklace is so cute! It looks like Mr Kitty is really healing well. That’s so wonderful to see, thank you for sharing!

Angus has the coolest spots. Spotted white cats have a special place in my heart (RIP, Marchie).

Love that necklace!!! It is totally me.

Great to see Mr Kitty more involved. Glad he is feeling better. Angus is all over the place as a kitten. Love the cat photos. There can never be enough. Hello to all the kitties from Leeloo and Louie.

Ragan

It is so different having a kitten in the house. Sneaky is my youngest cat after Angus and I am guessing she is going to turn 9 years old this year. (I found her in 2009 and my vet speculated she was born in 2008.)

Now Angus wants to be involved with every box I open. It didn’t take him long to figure things out!

I don’t have cats, don’t plan on getting cats, still read all your reviews! Love the exploits of your kitties.
Especially love how Mr. Kitty rules the roost, even with the eye situation and his advanced age. Way to go Mr. Kitty!

Gratuitous cat photo time is one of my favorite parts of the day! Thanks Ragan!
