The theme for December 2016 is Christmas!

yume-twins-december-2016-0006

The box came with a little magazine listing all the items included. There are 8 items total.

Amuse Kotoritai Kinchaku Pouch

This adorable pouch item had a few variations available and I love the little owl I received. It's incredibly soft and a nice size to throw in a bag or purse. The booklet mentioned using it for a phone cord and, as someone who has a perpetually dying phone, that's what I've been using it for! It's the perfect size for my charger and the smartphone cleaner that was also in this box.

It has the cutest little tail!

Mame Shiba Inu Smartphone Cleaner

This little guy has been hanging out in my Kotoritai Kinchaku Pouch so I can clean my phone on the go but it's also just an adorable little plushie! This item also had variations available, all of which are cute Shiba Inu puppies.

The bottom of the item is the part I've been using to buff my phone screen. It does a nice job of clearing off fingerprints so I find this pretty useful! While I've been keeping mine in the owl pouch, it does have a stretchy strap you can use to attach it somewhere handy.

Christmas Peanuts Plushie

Our next variation item was a Peanuts Plushie! There were a few options and I believe this is Snoopy's sister Belle. This little plushie is a little over three inches tall and comes with a red chain attached. You could use the red chain or swap it out for a hook to adorn your own Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.

The hat and scarf are so cute and perfect for the Christmas theme!

Christmas Bath Soak

This Christmas bath soak was a nice addition to the box and felt very festive. The bath powder was a dark maroon and smelled really sweet - it reminded me of bubblegum. This was a nice way to indulge in holiday sweets without overindulging on actual holiday sweets (which I was guilty of anyway!).

Snoopy Pocket Mirror

This pocket mirror features Snoopy, his siblings, and Woodstock! I love all the Peanuts characters and the colorful design of this little mirror. I can always use a little compact mirror in my purse and a cute compact is even better!

yume-twins-december-2016-0022

The mirror is a perfect size to toss in a bag. I've been keeping it in my owl pouch and cleaning it with the Shiba Inu cleaner. I love how useful so many of the products in this box are!

The Return of Lum: Lum Invader Decorative Tape

When I first opened this I didn't recognize the Lum Invader name. Lum Invader is the English publication name of Urusei Yatsura - a manga and anime series. I think the tape is cute and I'm excited to have a new series to explore!

yume-twins-december-2016-0025

There were a few variations available for the tape and I like the green one I received. I can always use washi tape for my planner, scrapbook, or letters so I will put this to good use!

Rilakkuma Hand Towel

Rilakkuma is one of my favorite characters so this towel is perfect for me! This square towel is so cute and a great size for a bathroom or kitchen hand towel but it's so cute that I've just been displaying it. This towel also features Korilakkuma and Kiiroitori. These two are often seen with Rilakkuma and they're all enjoying a little treat on this towel.

Neko Atsume Plushie Hat

The cuteness of this box continues with the inclusion of a Neko Atsume item! Neko Atsume kind of took over my life when it first came out. It's a game where you collect cats by feeding them and giving them toys. Then you can watch all your cats play! That summary sounds a little boring but it's so, so, so cute. This item also had variations and I received Odd-san - a black cat with two different colored eyes.

yume-twins-december-2016-0032

You can see Odd-san in cartoon form on the tag. This hat is incredibly soft! This is a lightweight hat so I wouldn't suggest it replaces a winter hat if you're somewhere cold but it does cover your ears so it would be a nice "chilly weather" hat. It also has velcro on the straps so you can clasp it together under your chin.

Verdict: YumeTwins is the cutest box! The Christmas theme came through mostly in the bath powder and Snoopy items. But every box kind of feels like a bunch of adorable Christmas gifts to me. I love that every item is a kawaii surprise but a lot of them are easily usable in my everyday life. So there are a lot of collectible cute plushie but then there are a bunch of things I can use all the time! The Neko Atsume, Peanuts, and Rilakkuma items felt like the highest value products but everything was a hit for me this month. This is the final box before YumeTwins debuts their new look so I can't wait to see how they improve on what is already an awesome box!

You don’t know about Lum? omg I feel so old Q.Q You whippersnapers don’t know how good you have it with your Narutos and Attack on Titans and what have yous that are aired on TV and on the internet, all this anime at your fingertips… we used to have to trade it out of the trunks of cars, it was more black market than drugs! Haha! 😛 Lum is some good, old school stuff!

I wonder if they got permission to produce items with the Peanuts characters… Copyright infringement and all that pesky stuff.

Michelle

Peanuts items are actually huge in Japan they have a whole store dedicated to peanuts. I’ve never had items with anything in yume twins being knock off. Dokidoki crate however has gotten in tons of trouble for supplying knockoff merchandise that’s why I left them.
