Bride-Box-January-2017-Info-Card

The Bride Box always includes a one sided info card with details about the items in your box. They also include monthly tips and marketing cards for various companies.

Bride-Box-January-2017-Nail-Polish

Ella + Mila Nail Polish, Stuck on You – Value $10.50

This month, all new subscribers received two extra gifts in their boxes. The Bride sign from the September 2016 Box, and this nail polish. This nail polish is a lightly iridescent, pale pink color. Ella + Mila polishes are 7 free, vegan, and animal cruelty-free.

Bride-Box-January-20-17-Body-Cream

Honey Belle Eucalyptus Peppermint Body Creme – Value $10.99

This body cream is made from coconut oil, aloe leaf juice, glycerine, vitamin e, and all sorts of other emollient ingredients. Look at how fluffy and creamy it is! It smells wonderful and works quite well. It’s very moisturizing and the scent does tend to fade quickly.

Bride-Box-January-2017-Bombshell-Lippy

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Mauvelous – Value $6.00

This lip gloss is a gorgeous mauve color. I found that the gloss was quite sticky, not my favorite formulation for lip gloss, but it did last for quite a long time!

Here’s a swatch of the lip gloss – you can tell it is very high shine and is a thicker gloss. The applicator is your standard, doe foot applicator, and works as expected!

Coastal Creative Designs Acrylic Bride Tumbler – Value $12.00

This tumbler was really difficult to photograph well. It is made from acrylic with a 16-ounce capacity. It is double walled and will work for cold or hot drinks. I wouldn’t recommend using the dishwasher for this one – the text looks like it might be susceptible to coming off in the dishwasher! Coastal Creative Designs also has several different versions of this tumbler – perfect for your bridal party!

Bride-Box-January-2017-Coaster

Jupiter and Juno Die Cut Coasters – Value $15.00

I received a package of 5 of these die-cut coasters with gold foil. They are beautiful but I think they’re quite expensive for paper coasters. If you want to use these more than once, I would recommend painting them with Mod Podge to ensure that the paper doesn’t get wet or dirty.

Verdict: This The Bride Box has a value of $44.99 not including the gift to new subscribers, and a value of $54.49 including it. I liked the mix of products this month, keeping in mind different tastes in scents and colors, I think the products received would work well for the majority of subscribers. If they’re not to your personal tastes, they would be great little gifts to throw into a larger gift for your bridesmaids. The tumbler is something that everyone can use, and the coasters would be a great addition to any bridal shower decor.

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
