Switch will always use USPS First Class mail to send your jewelry unless it weighs more than 1 pound. Each package comes with a prepaid USPS return label so you can leave your return for your mail carrier or drop it off at the post office if you're the nervous type (like me!)

When you sign up for Switch, you take a look at all the pieces in their collection and select your favorites. They then match your picks with what they have available and send you the number of pieces that match the plan you've chosen. You choose from actual items in their collection and not just something in a similar style.

This month I picked items new to the Switch collection that were pretty, wearable, and special for the holidays.

Miansai Layered Cuff - Value $235

This Miansai Layered Cuff is a solid piece of jewelry with a great weight and fantastic quality. It is made from 14k gold-plated brass. I tried a Miansai piece in my first Switch and found that their bracelets are best for smaller wrists. The interior circumference of this cuff is 6.75".

The bracelet came in a branded Miansai drawstring bag.

The cuff is beautifully made with smooth lines. I love the minimalist styling of this piece. The curved lines give it a slightly art deco vibe and make it easy to dress up or down.

The Miansai cuff fit my smaller wrists perfectly and felt very secure. While wearing this, I didn't feel any risk of it falling off and becoming lost or damaged. This is a comfortable accessory and something I could see myself wearing every day!

Jacquie Aiche Double Crystal Wrap Necklace - Value $286

After going with bolder pieces for my last switch, I was excited when I saw this delicate necklace as part of Switch's new pieces. The fine gold-tone chain pairs well with the crystal drops. Crystals are very trendy right now and this is a very elegant execution. The necklace is one long chain so to wear it, you just wrap it around your neck once to secure it.

Here is a closer look at the crystals.

Here is the necklace on me, you can see how I wrapped it once around my neck to secure it. It works best when you arrange the necklace so that the crystals fall at different lengths. I have a thing for long necklaces so I wish this was actually a bit longer. I loved how this necklace worked with my black velvet dress. Trends on trends! This was a great pairing for a Christmas party with friends.

Verdict: I love the variety that Switch offers and that they are continuing to update their collection. There are some bolder pieces I've had my eye on but they are pretty popular so I haven't been able to try them out. I never have trouble finding something great to rent. I was able to pick pieces that worked great for my holiday plans without having to commit. Being able to participate in trends like crystal jewelry in its best execution without spending a ton of cash is what makes Switch a great service. The total value of my rental this month was $521 which is great for the $49/month rental fee for 2 pieces at once.

Emily, I love being a member of Switch! They’re merchandise is fantastic, the best out of any jewelry rental website and it’s been getting better.

Great pictures by the way.

Ragan

My wrists are 5.25 inches around and I’m pretty sure that cuff would fall right off me…been planning to learn to make my own cuffs as that is about the only way I can get one small enough to fit.

Nice review, though, and this seems like an affordable way to get good quality jewelry to wear as opposed to the cheap stuff I find myself in most days. But I’ve been having issues with the USPS this week so sending something so expensive in the mail has me a bit twitchy.
