This month’s theme is “Slay Day Goals.”I received this booklet describing the MB Black Collection brushes included, along with a 10% off coupon. I also received a “Slay 2017” sticker, which I placed on my desk or will put in my bathroom as a nice reminder for the year.

MB1 Deluxe Powder – Value $10.99

This super soft powder brush glides on my face and allows me to blend powder easily onto my skin. I love how soft the synthetic fibers feel against my skin.

MB4 Angle Blush Contour – Value $9.99

This is a nice angled brush to blend out my contour. This brush works on cream or powder blush.

MB9 Foundation – Value $4.99

This is a first for me, I usual wear powder foundation if I wear foundation at all. The application made for a smooth coverage and my cream foundation blended well with this brush. I may try using this brush on a chocolate mask I have been saving.

MB10 Concealer – Value $2.99

This flat, synthetic brush is purposeful from highlighting my best features to carving out my cheek bones to perfecting a smokey eye, which I have yet to master.

MB19 Oval Lip – Value $1.99

I was excited to receive a lip brush in this month’s collection since I don’t own one. As usual, this brush has multiple uses: I can carve out a cut crease (after watching this video I would love to attempt the look), pack on glitter on my lids for a night on the town, or use as spot treatment for a pimple.

I have not used a lip brush in a long time and this brush was stiff but after applying the lip stick onto the brush and breaking it in it was more pliable. I used MODEL co lipstick in Stiletto.

Here’s my finished look!

Verdict: I enjoy receiving the MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club brushes! I was introduced to two new brushes that I have not yet seen in the MorpheMe collection. This month’s brushes have a value of $30.95, which falls just above their guarantee. It may seem excessive to have so many brushes, but if you are dedicated to your makeup ritual, it’s good to switch out your brushes often and have a variety on hand. Check out their brush care tips for keeping your brushes like new.

  1. I’ve really enjoyed their brushes, I had to skip this month (a few boxes) to do Christmas recovery 😢 But next month back to my favorite hobby once again! Anyways I think the quality is very nice and better than my benefit brushes I paid way too much for that shed. Thanks for the review!

  2. Thank you Nich! I wonder why they think anyone would sign up for a 6-month or 12-month sub when they don’t discount those. In fact, their 6-month and 12-month subs cost a few cents MORE than going month-to-month. Hope they’re reading this and will respond.
