This was the info letter that came in the package. This month, nine people received a Philips Sunrise Simulation Alarm Clock in their package! I’m bummed I was not one of them! Next month at least five people will receive a Ring Wi-Fi Enabled Video Doorbell in their box.

This card was also included, informing subscribers of the many things they are giving away to people who make purchases on 13 Deals. On the reverse is an advertisement for Pet Treater Box.

Rock Star Emoji Pillow – Value $6.49

Look how cute this little guy is! My eight-year-old claimed him instantly. He loves emojis.

Pez Headz Bearz – Value about $1.64

This snack is kind of terrifying to me, but I let the kids try them anyway. They loved them, of course!

Adirondack Boot Socks – Value $3.33

This is about the fourth or fifth time my husband and I have received Adirondack socks in a subscription box this season, and you will hear no complaints from us. They are so warm and comfy!

Remington Whole Bean Grinder – Value $14.99

Wow, perfect timing! Our existing coffee grinder is on the fritz. It’s also not this nice. Score!

Simpsons Piggy Bank – Value $15?

(I could not find this for sale online anywhere.) We love the Simpsons so much at my house! My ten-year-old was thrilled to get this piggy bank featuring Mr. Burns, the ultimate pig.

Roadhouse Hot Sauce Collection – Value $16.99 on Amazon, but sticker on the box says $10

I hate to admit this, but this is my favorite item in the box! I LOVE the spice! I was super excited to get this. I have only tried the “Death Tears” variety so far, but it completely delivers. It’s so hot!

Verdict: I sometimes feel like it’s worth the $25 just to see what I’m going to get every month from the Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome, it’s so much fun! This was an exceptional month for us, and everyone in the family got something awesome. It was like a second Christmas! The value of everything this month totals $58.44, which is amazing for a $25 box!

What do you think of the Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome? What did you get?

  1. I would like to subscribe but their page does not have a lot of information. I would like to know how hard or easy it is to cancel if the box isn’t for me. Can anyone help? Thank you.

  2. Looks cool for once. I may subscribe… hmmm

  3. I got the exact same items and this was my all time favorite Awesome box. Every item was useful or giftable. The coffee grinder alone (which we didn’t have, as I’m scared of kitchen clutter), opened us up to the goodness of freshly ground coffee. Since we have people of various ages and both genders in our family (my son claims to be of 36 genders), each item was well received by somebody. A really good box!

    • I like your son!

  4. I got those gummy candies from somewhere else (PinchMe, maybe?). I actually loved them (probably because I don’t get gummies very often since they are only rarely vegetarian).

But, those free samples were going around like a year ago. Wouldn’t be surprised if these were from the same batch…

  5. This is a great box full of fun and useful stuff. If this trend continues I will definitely want to subscribe.

  6. Instead of the hot sauces I got a box of portion control containers.

  7. Wow, great selection of items this month! I think this is the best variety of items I’ve seen in this box yet.

  8. This is the first time that I feel like the value was great for this box.
