Soroci Soothing Skin Toner 50 ml - Listed Value $22
This is a new brand for Mishibox and it's new to me as well. Subscribers receive the Soothing Skin Toner or the Repair Skin Softener. I got the Soothing Skin Toner, which is made from organic rice embryo. It aims to balance the skin's natural pH and control sebum.
I really like the matte, sleek design! The dispenser is a nozzle that uses a vacuum pump. It dries very quickly and leaves skin matte and hydrated. The floral fragrance is pleasant and dissipates quickly.
Chamos Snail Repair Aqua Gel Mist 50 ml- Listed Value $18
Chamos is another new-to-me brand. This facial mist has a unique gel texture.
The dispenser is a spray nozzle that sprays a fine, even mist. The gel texture melts into a watery consistency, so the mist does not feel heavy or greasy at all. I pat the mist into the skin for better absorption. It's a nice size that I can carry around and use on my face throughout the day.
Holika Holika Golden Monkey Glamour Lip 3-Step Kit - Value $4
I have used this item before! It is a 3-step lip patch kit that includes an exfoliating pad, hydrogel lip patch, and lip treatment. The exfoliating pad is a cotton lip patch soaked in liquid. When you rub the patch around your lips, the formula will pill up much like how peeling gels work. The hydrogel lip patch is essentially a sheet mask for your lips. The lip treatment is a thick, honey-scented gel that locks in moisture and seals in all the goodness from the hydrogel patch.
This is a great product for when I need major TLC for dry, chapped lips.
Ettang Modeling Take Out Cup in Paper Mulberry - Value $3.99
Subscribers receive one of eight types; I got Paper Mulberry. I have used modeling masks before, and while they take more prep than sheet masks, the results are rewarding. First, you have to add water to the powder to create a thick paste. Each cup contains a spatula that is necessary to mix and apply the mask. After covering the entire face with a thick layer, wait until the paste dries to a rubbery consistency, then peel off. Afterward, my face feels plump and hydrated with zero tackiness.
Yadah Silky Fit Concealer BB Power Brightening 10 ml - Listed Value $6
This is an SPF 34 BB concealer that is formulated to moisturize, brighten, and illuminate the skin. Instructions say to avoid eyes and lips, so I guess this shouldn't be used as an under-eye concealer.
Here is a swatch on my warm, medium skin tone. The formula can be built up to your desired coverage. It doesn't feel cakey or heavy. It does make my skin look brighter under my regular BB cushion.
Chamos Snail Repair Mask - Listed Value $3
Subscribers receive one of six types, and I received Snail Repair. It has a light fragrance. The mask fit is ok but eye holes could be bigger. My face feels very cold while wearing the mask. While it's not uncomfortable, it might be too intense for other people. The cooling effect could be nice for summertime, though. The essence absorbs quickly after use, but it leaves a sticky residue that feels heavy on my skin. Overall, I'm not a big fan of the formula.
Verdict: I'm always impressed by the high value from Mishibox. Plus, they seem to find all sorts of fun, new brands for me to try. My first impressions of Soroci and Chamos are positive, and I would love to see more from them. Overall, this was a fantastic month and I enjoyed trying everything. The total retail value is $57, which is more than twice the cost of the box.
