Kloverbox recently changed ownership and we’re starting to review it again. (Previously, MSA readers let us know that Kloverbox had issues with customer care, and for now that seems to be a thing of the past.)

Kloverbox is a natural and organic beauty and lifestyle subscription box. According to Kloverbox, every month you’ll receive a sampling of “the best natural, cruelty-free and organic beauty, lifestyle, nutrition and healthy home products.

RA Goods Refresh Your Face Toner – Value $10

This toner is made with distilled water, witch hazel, aloe vera, vegetable glycerin, Frankincense essential oil and Lemongrass essential oil. The citrus scent is the most pronounced to me, which is fine by me! They recommend using this on your face and neck, then wiping away with a cotton pad. Alternatively, you can use it as a refreshing spray throughout the day. (Lemongrass essential oil may irritate some, so make sure to test this on a small patch of skin, first.)

Wild Plants Love You Rosy Cheek Stain – Value $8

kloverbox-december-2016-0011

This cheek stain has a natural, herbal, scent, and it works well for giving a barely-there makeup look. The tint is buildable but goes on sheer, and because of the Jojoba oil, it has a nice sheen, too. Very dewy!

Here it is swatched:

(I did multiple swipes to really show the color.)

Yoganics Holiday Cheer Blend Limited Edition 100% Pure Organic Essential Oil – Value $15

kloverbox-december-2016-0015

I think I love any essential oils that fit the holiday theme, and this blend is another win for me. The main scents that stick out to me are cinnamon and orange peel – two of my all-time favorites!

And this oil goes perfectly with the next item:

Drops of Joy Jewelry Diffuser Bracelet – Value $32

kloverbox-december-2016-0017

This bracelet is made with lava stones, which are porous, and perfect for diffusing essential oil!

I typically use essential oils for laundry dryer balls, or in a room diffuser, but this method is great, too. (And so unique – I would never have guessed this bracelet was designed for diffusing if I hadn’t read the info card!)

If you have any other tips for how/where to use essential oils, let me know!

Timeless Organics Skin Care Timeless Muscle Soak in Relax – Value $7

This bath soak is made with only natural and organic ingredients, and lavender is the main scent – my favorite de-stressing aroma!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $72. I think that’s great for a $25 natural beauty and lifestyle box! Plus I usually love just about every natural scent (with the exception of rose), so this box is almost always a hit with me.

  1. I received a similar aromatherapy bracelet (I believe) in the November New Beauty Test Tube. It has a little charm that holds aromatherapy balls in it. I don’t wear jewelry, so I ended up hanging the bracelet near my monitors at work, and I change the balls out monthly (I just did it today!) to keep it fresh. Once I run out of the balls, I’m going to hang this bracelet in its place and put a drop of the included essential oil on a couple of the lava beads every month. Since Christmas is my favorite holiday, I won’t mind smelling the season at my desk year-round. 🙂

  2. After several months, Kloverbox is once again one of my favorites. I loved everything included this month, but especially the bracelet and essential oil. I’ve already bought a few more items from Drops of Joy Jewelry, and more essential oils from Yoganics (her oils are really powerful!). I love the variety and uniqueness of the items they include, and can’t wait to see what’s coming next month!

  3. My mom used to put a drop of essential oil on a light bulb so the heat when the lamp was turned on would scent the room. This was with the old style light bulbs and I’m not sure if she’s tried it with the cfl bulbs.
