Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Ciracle-Blackhead-Sheets

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Ciracle-Blackhead-Sheets-Closeup

Ciracle Pore Control Blackhead Off Sheet - Value $14

These nose strip alternatives are like small masks for your nose. Each sheet is soaked in essence that works to penetrate pores, remove blackheads and whiteheads, and bring excess sebum to the surface. Large claims for something that looks very ordinary! There is a small tweezer included for picking apart the sheets. The sheets stay on my nose without falling, and they don't feel like much while worn. My pores appear smaller and less oily afterward, but I don't have any blackheads to determine if the other claims are real.

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Mediheal-Mask

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Mediheal-Mask-Closeup

Mediheal Petalpoten Hydrop Mask in Lotus Essential, 55ml - Value $12

This is a lightweight gel sleeping mask. It contains lotus oil and plant oil flower capsules to help tighten pores and improve skin elasticity. The mask contains white particles suspended in gel. They break down and disappear quickly when rubbed into the skin. The scent is pleasant and the finish is only slightly tacky to the touch. I like how the mask makes my skin feel extra supple in the morning!

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-ACWell-Effector

Acwell Aquazene Effector 50ml - Value $22.90

This is an effector that contains centella asiatica extract to help treat redness. It also contains Puritox Jin, a Korean medicinal plant complex that claims to normalize, protect, and relax the skin from external stressors. I expected to see a liquid essence, instead, this has a thick cream consistency that sets better when used as a nighttime moisturizer. My skin is very hydrated after application, but other than that, I don't see much of a difference.

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-OPerla-Mask

OPERLA Majesty The Queen Essence Mask Pack - Value $2?

This is a black cotton sheet mask. It contains hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, magnolia vine, fig, and mung bean extract to provide "clarity and elasticity" to the skin. It is heavily scented, which may put off more sensitive noses, but the essence absorbs very quickly while leaving skin nourished and hydrated. The finish is silky smooth and there's no residual feeling at all. I really like this mask!

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Jayjun-Mask

JAYJUN Real Water Brightening Black Mask - Value $3

This is a 3-step kit that includes a facial cleanser, essence, and sheet mask. Kits like these are great for traveling, as it decreases the amount of skincare you need to pack! The cleanser had too much of that "squeaky clean" feeling for me, so I wasn't very fond of it. The gel-like essence feels hydrating and absorbs quickly into the skin. I enjoyed using this one. Finally, the black sheet mask was well-fitting and hydrating.

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Lip-Mask

Etude House Honey Jelly Lips Patch - Value $3.30

This is a hydrogel lip patch specially designed to moisturize and provide nutrients to the lips. It contains honey, propolis, and royal jelly, which are all bee products. The patch smells and even tastes sweet (but I do not recommend trying it)! It leaves my lips plump, hydrated, and smooth. Fine lines also look diminished temporarily. This is an amazing treat for combating winter weather.

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Etude-House

Etude House Honey Cera Creamy Body Lotion 20ml - Value $0.82

This body lotion from Etude House smells like sweet honey. It has a smooth, spreadable consistency and dries to a comfortable, unnoticeable finish.

Etude House Honey Cera Creamy Body Wash 20ml - Value $0.78

This is the body wash from the same Honey Cera line. It smells as good as the body lotion. The gel lathers up very quickly and cleanses my skin without making it feel tight afterward.

Jini-Beauty-November-December-2016-Samples

Included in the box are sample packets of Neulii Teatree BHA Blemish Control Serum and The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Firming Seed Cream.

Verdict: I thoroughly enjoyed trying the products from this Jini Beauty box. My favorite discovery is the OPERLA sheet mask! It's great when I finally find a mask that both fits right and feels right. I also like the mix of brands, from known ones like Etude House and Mediheal to lesser-known ones like Acwell. I do wish I liked the Acwell Aquazene Effector more since it was the highest value item in the box. The total value is estimated to be $58.80, which is well above the cost of the subscription. However, at this price point, I would like to see a little higher value. Currently, this value is about the same as past boxes.

$45 and you are promised 6-8 full size products plus 2 sheet masks? Not only did this box contain a value wayyyy under what it should have for an expensive beauty box, but it doesn’t even have the number of products it promised! What a horrible box. Shame on them.

Hi Charlie, they promise 6-8 full and deluxe sized items. This box had 4 full size (counting the lip patch) and 2 deluxe size items, plus 2 masks and 2 samples. I do agree that value could be higher though.
