This note arrived in my package this month. It has some social media information, but more importantly, it outlines an exceptional feature of Instaglam: they accept returns (for credit) and exchanges! There’s also a little card attached showing how many boxes are left in my subscription.

Instaglam sends subscribers a short quiz every month which basically asks two things. First, they give you a choice of two different tops to choose from. The second question is whether you want gold, silver, or surprise metals. I always choose surprise!

Puff Keychain

This is a first! I don’t think I’ve ever received a purse puff in a subscription box. I can’t see myself adorning my purse with this, personally, but I know some people would love it.

Dorothy Hoop Earrings

This month’s earrings are so big! I don’t know if I can pull these off, but I will give it a try!

Metal Bracelet

This month’s bracelet is not my favorite. It’s a little small for me, so I can see the cords holding it together. I might like it if my wrists were more slender, but it still looks kind of non-cohesive when it’s not being stretched, if that makes sense.

Pendant Necklace

This necklace is so pretty! I love it! It goes well with the earrings, too.

Dolman Sleeves Top

Here’s the entire outfit for this month, including the top. I like the top, it’s nice and basic. The dolman sleeves are cute. I really like the way the top, earrings, and necklace looks together!

Verdict: I love Instaglam! This month was a little different because I didn’t love the bracelet or the purse puff, but I loved everything else. I really like that Instaglam provides an entire look for you to try out! It’s so fun!

What do you think of Instaglam? Did you receive the same items this month?

  1. I am confused. When I went to website the $59 box said shirt only. Are the accessories a bonus? There was also a box with shirt and 3 accessories which was quite a bit more. I was going to sign up for the 3 month deal but not sure what I would get.

    • Hi, I found this confusing at first too so I will try to answer your questions as well as provide some info I found confusing at first. I believe the boxes started as monthly but recently it’s been a little longer than a month between boxes. The owner is a wonderful lady who runs the business out of her home. She has wonderful style and puts together great outfits. The Basic Box is $59 per month (discounts for subscriptions). It includes a top and 3-4 accessories. For this collection, the Basic Box gave the option of the shirt that Anna received or a vanilla ribbed poncho. The customer chooses to receive the top or the poncho. You can also buy the full collection which included leggings, boots and a purse. The other shirt/poncho choice as well as the leggings, purse or boots can be purchased a la carte. If you buy one month you make your choices on the website and complete your purchase there. If you subscribe for more than one month you will get a “survey” via email when the next collection launches. You make your choices i.e. shirt or poncho, gold or silver jewelry, and select sizes. You can add on the other items a la carte if desired. You can also skip the month if you don’t like the choices. She then orders the items and ships out when everything arrives (several weeks later). You can exchange if she has the desired size available. For returns of a la carte items, you get credit in the amount paid. For returns of a partial box, the main item is considered to be half the value paid and the remaining half of the value paid is split equally among the accessories. Subscribers generally get to choose among two main items. This time it was dolman top/poncho, other times it has been two different color tops or two different style of tops. Single box purchasers sometimes only have one top choice available.

      • In addition to the website she has a VIP group on Facebook (search Instaglam VIP) and send a request to join. You will see she has a very loyal customer base and she is always running specials, doing giveaways and raffles. For her current raffle she is selling 40 gift cards of $50 each and the drawing 20 winners. The top prize is to replace your $50 gift card with a $1000 gift card. Everybody walks away with at least the gift card they purchased and half of the entries will get more than what they paid. She also sells additional clothing items to the VIP group in addition to the “box”. Some are “ready to ship” and ship right after payment is made; others are pre-orders and can sometimes take quite a while to receive. She will also sell (leftover) collection items at a steep discount in the VIP group. There is a 12 month plan usually available in the VIP that works out to less than $22 per basic box. I am not affiliated with her or her company in any way. I just really admire what she is doing and the great customer service she provides. She just announces that she will have to start a waitlist soon (maybe already) as the box is becoming very popular. The items are nice and good quality but not top quality. Very good wardrobe builders with a lot of style! If you are interested at all, check out her website and send a request to join the VIP group. You can message the owner via the contact us on her website and she will answer any questions.

        • I agree – Laura is awesome. I used to buy the full box every month. I stopped because a lot of the stuff started to look the same (the reason I love a clothing store and then stop), just in different colors. I really like the stuff I have, but I only have so much money, so took a long break from Instaglam to mix up my wardrobe. Maybe I’ll go back.

If you’re confused, try doing the order, but before you get to the payment part, see if you get to select jewelry colors. Or email Laura – contact info should be on the site. It’s always really great to support a woman-owned business, especially when she has great stuff!

      • I appreciate the info but I went once again to the website and this is not what it says. It’s too confusing for me to even bother with. Thanks again

  2. Does everyone get the same jewelry or do they customize based on your profile?

You look lovely, as always! I feel your pain with the bracelet — I love bracelets but finding ones that fit is a challenge.

    • They always offer both silver and gold jewelry. Instaglam reveals the outfit/accessories (including jewelry) in advance and shows it with either gold or silver jewelry. You can choose to get the set they show or choose the other metal which will be similar but not necessarily exactly the same (she doesn’t show the other set in advance). For instance, this box had the same bracelet and earrings in solver but the necklace was different/similar. The silver necklace was several circles with no center stone (similar length). You can also select “surprise” me and they will select a set.

      • Correction: For this month the reveal the displayed gold necklace was different (but similar) to what came in the box. Maybe some people got the revealed necklace, I got the same one Anna got.

    • Thank you so much LynnDeanne! And big thanks to MaryJennifer for providing all this helpful info!

  3. I think the earrings look great. They go well with the necklace without looking too “matchy”.

    • Agreed. Thanks Michele!
