  1. I bought the 120$ voucher for the Classic box and have run into some problems. Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like you have to use the entire credit in one purchase. However, you’re not able to select the Classic box for 4 people option. I’m really confused as to how to use the entire voucher.

    • I got the $120.00 as well. I have already used one week and it deducted $59.98 from my voucher. I’m assuming it will do the same for next weeks box but I couldn’t find any info on my remaining balance on the hello fresh website. Hopefully it all works out.

    • I’m having the same issue… I have an inquiry submitted, since Saturday. I received a response requesting more information but no resolution/explanation yet. I will let you know when/if I hear anything back!

      • I asked why it wasn’t working for the 4 person box. Received an answer asking for my voucher number. I gave it and asked if I could use the voucher to buy the 3 meal 2 person plan and have it cover 2 weeks instead of one. The customer service ignored that question and simply replied that the voucher was only valid for the 3 meal 2 person plan only. I’m pretty irritated because 1) they totally dodged my question and 2) nowhere does it say that it has to be that option. I sent back a reply asking my question again. Hope you have better luck with them! I’ll keep you posted on developments.

        • Strange! I STILL haven’t received a reply… I’ll probably spam every available customer service email address tomorrow. I did notice that I could run it for a 2 person, 5 meal plan that has a value of $99. If they won’t honor the value of the voucher I’ll probably go that route and use a gift card/credit card so that they can’t continue to charge me after I cancel. Not a good way to obtain new customers! I’m still hoping for the best though, thanks for the update!

        • Update: not five minutes after posting they replied and said that the balance would carry over. I chose the 2 person 3 meal plan. Hope things work out for you!

          • Update: They did NOT carry over my balance and charged my card. I am pretty ticked off. They also have not reimbursed the $1 credit card authorization test fee

          • Linea, please let us know how this plays out… very frustrating. Makes me very glad I used a prepaid visa credit card to subscribe! Aargh!

          • I heard back from Hello Fresh and they are crediting my card. They said I didn’t “apply the voucher code correctly” which seems weird since I got my first box free.

          • oh and they finally credited my $1.00 too.

  2. Im confused how does the credit work? Do you have a minimum you need to subscribe to on the Hello Fresh site?

  4. Can anyone explain the difference between classic and family meal sizes?

    • I think classic feeds 2 and family feeds 4.

    • The website says that classic is a wider variety with more spices. Family is less variety but probably a safer bet if you have picky eaters or younger children.

  5. How does the store credit work? Do I get a code?

  6. I went onto Gilt City and it looks like the promo code is RESOLUTION20 and you can get 20% off your order. Or at least that’s what my account would allow.

    • I was able to use resolution40. Took it down to $18 :o)

    • When I signed into my gilt city account, resolution20 was showing on my page too but it still let me enter and use resolution40 for a bigger discount so it’s worth a shot!

      • I think they got hip to us and turned off RESOLUTION40 as a code.
        It no longer works (says expired).
        Too bad. I’d bite on the $210 deal at 40% off.

        • Maybe not I just tried resolution40 and it worked. There’s does seem to be a $25 limit though. The $100 offer did allow the resolution40 coupon but only brought it down to $75

        • This code still worked for me just now, but I think it’s also a max of $25 off.

          • Still doesn’t work for me. Tried with both the mobile and the desktop. 🙁
