The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn January 2017 Box is… Love.

More from GlobeIn:

Dearest friends,

This is the love box. Love is a box. Love is a box you are holding, a box you are opening. Love is an opening, a holding, is you. Love is a piece of chocolate broken off, a pile of sand blown into glass. Love is a wine, a quiet toast.

Love is a thoughtfully set table, a word of affirmation whispered softly to the self. Love is a napkin on the lap. Love is a woven bowl ready to be filled. Love is already.

In Kenya, the Caribbean, Mexico, and India, love is global and local at once. Love is an always bazaar, handmade and open to all, touching down wherever you are.

Warmly,
Genna
Artisan Box Curator

So love this box – just arrived today! But… BOTH the wine glasses arrived in pieces:( They truly are beautiful – but lots of breakage points on the hand blown glass. Sad…. I’ve emailed Customer Service – hopefully they are able to replace quickly.

some confusion does seem to be happening there. I signed up early December and they immediately charged me but I never received that month. I figured it was Christmas jam.

However they just charged me again. So in the past 30 days I have been charged twice and have received nothing… yet.

I am so confused. I got an email about putting myself on the waitlist, so I did that, but there was also another option to let them know which boxes I might be interested in receiving when my subscription “re-activates.”

I’m assuming this means reactivating after my choice to skip January?

But literally, my page says “Status: Skipping January” and immediately after that, it says, “Your package will be shipping soon.”

Same thing happened to me! I skipped January and just got the shipping confirmation for a 3rd Pamper box!

Looks awesome….can’t wait to get it. Even the woven heart bowl is a nice switch-up from the monthly baskets (but I still love those baskets which are so useful for so many things). I’m still crossing my fingers for the elephant plate or at least the opportunity to add it on later if I get one of the other styles. It’s adorable. And dark chocolate, caramel crunch and sea salt is pretty much made for me. The only thing that would make it better is peanut butter too. 🙂

I love Globein and I love this basket!!! It is great to receive every month. I have been a member from the beginning and wouldn’t dream of quitting. Every month they send the most awesome creative artistic items made in other countries. They also send a booklet explaining where he items came from and information about the artist who created and makes the items. I love it and so glad there is this awesome basket every month!!!

This definitely looks like an amazing box but some of their former boxes were pretty amazing too. The Giving box (with the dishes), Pamper, World and Savor boxes are all pretty amazing as well. This is one of the few subs I have from which I almost never swap a single item. I keep everything for myself and under duress I give away as gifts (though I’d rather keep for myself!). Hopefully the Love box will be more readily availed in a month or so … Yes, I’ve definitely had some disappointments with this box but overall I get more enjoyment so I continue to subscribe.

Great box. Just makes it that more irksome I cant have one. They had the nerve to email those of us who skipped Jan due to not getting a Love box asking if we wanted to un-skip for an old box.

It’s probably because they realize they will NEVER have enough love boxes for all the people in the queue. This company is imploding.

Totally agree, Lauren. And the fact that they keep coming out with spoilers, is even more irksome. The basket is sold out!!!

Well, to be fair on this very site, someone last week was regretting skipping and wanted to un-skip, and globein did add maybe five more past boxes to choose from after folks were complaining that more were for sale than offered as swap choices. So they were trying to respond to customer posts and desires and to reach subscribers who hadn’t written to them directly. You’ll get one this winter!

CB, if someone wants to unskip a month, it’s very easy to do. Just log back onto your subscription settings and change it before the date cutoff. The whole point here is that Globein did not collaborate and curate a January box that ALL current subscribers could receive. They started releasing spoilers a month ago followed w generic mass emails stating how “Love” was sold out. And they kept releasing spoilers. I have been a subscriber for both the Artisan and the now defunct Benefit box since June. The fact that they are offering back up boxes of old stock is not right. If I wanted that box for that previous month, I would have gotten it. Not every themed box is going to be everyone’s style or go w their home decor. That’s why they have given you an option to skip that month. There was never a problem with previous months as far as the theme being sold out a month in advance. To me, It was a slap in the face to current subscribers. Good for you all who are in the lucky camp who are receiving the “Love” box.
