The theme this month is "Black Tie Silent Night."
The Menswear Club always sends a postcard with some information about the items and the value of the box; I really find this helpful, especially when some of the items are non-branded.
dha | ONE Bow Tie and Pocket Square Set - Value $30.00
This bow tie and pocket square came packaged in a really nice box! This is perfect for gifting if bow ties aren't your bag! dha | ONE has quite a few other really attractive bow tie and pocket square sets as well - I love this plaid style style.
The fabric is really nice and it's quite stiff, so it looks great. The bow tie is pre-tied, so you just have to use the little clasp and adjuster to get it on...super easy.
The Menswear Club Black Lava Stone Bracelet - Listed Value $25.00
This is an exclusive item for the box. The stones are porous and not completely even - I think it adds to the ruggedness of the piece. Menswear Club recommends using it formally or casually with a nice watch or another bracelet.
Evergreen Essential Oil Soy Candle by Fifteen Co. - Listed Value $10.00
This candle is made with cedar and spruce essential oils and soy wax. Mine came a bit melted (you can see it around the lid in the picture) but it smells great. I will definitely enjoy this - my husband isn't super into candles, so it's definitely going to be mine!
Socksmith Bamboo Stripe Socks - Value $10.00
These socks are made from bamboo, with a moisture wicking fabric. Personally, I love the color mix and that these are super soft! if they were smaller, I would be stealing these. They hold their shape quite well and are very comfortable, according to my husband.
CLEAN Classic Cologne Sampler - Bonus Item
This scent is really clean (surprise, surprise!) and nice. According to Birchbox, it has a "base of warm, woodsy musk is made modern by mid notes of black pepper and juniper berry and top notes of basil and bergamot." Bergamot is one of my favorite scents!
Verdict: This month's The Menswear Club has a value of $75.00 and the mix of products is really nice for December. I loved the evergreen candle - it smells perfect for winter - and the bow tie and pocket square are perfect for more formal holiday parties. Overall, this box always has a great mix of products and value - plus the box it comes in is perfect for reusing for storage around the house.
