The Honest Company offers five different “bundle” subscriptions: Essentials (household items), Diapers & Wipes, Health & Wellness (vitamins), Organic Infant Formula + DHA  and Beauty.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This review is of the Diapers & Wipes Bundle, $79.95 a month, box.

Note from Liz: The Honest Company was recently in the news about cancellation issues. Currently, you have to call in to cancel your subscription (you can update the ship date from your online account, though.) Phone wait times were reported at up to half an hour in some cases. The Honest Company has issued this response:

“Our mission from day one has been to help people live happy, healthy lives by providing products that families everywhere can trust. We are constantly looking at ways that we can further improve our customer service policies and procedures. Online subscription cancellation is a feature we’ve been working on and plan to enable in the very near future as a way to provide our customers an easier way to make changes to their subscription preferences 24 hours a day/7 days a week. We look forward to implementing these changes shortly. In the meantime, we always offer refunds to any customer who wishes to cancel, without exception, as well as a 365 day return policy.”

Honest Company Diaper bundles are always huge since they have enough (or more than enough) for a month! Here’s what I got this month.

If you’re not familiar with this subscription, here are the basics: You always get 6 packs of diapers and 4 packs of wipes each month. For the diapers, you can select your favorite patterns, and Honest will randomly pick for you depending on what’s available. You can swap in Overnight Diapers or Pull-Up style diapers for any of the 6 packs. You can even change the size on just some of the diapers, and you can also add on extra products for a 25% discount.

2 packs of Honest Overnight Diapers, sizes 5 and 6 – Regularly $13.95/pack ($0.63/diaper), save 22% with subscription

I really loved these Overnight Diapers at first because they didn’t leak – but in the past month or so, they’ve been problematic again. This month, I sized one of my packs up from size 5 to a size 6 to see if that would help.

Our little experiment has been a success, so far at least! He’s been in the size 6 overnights for a few days and even if he’s sleeping on his stomach, they’ve stopped leaking for us.

Parenting Pro Tip: I always swap my diapers to get two packs of Overnights in my bundle, because there are less than 30 per pack. I don’t want to run out and have to put my son in a regular diaper at night — but I can totally use Overnights in place of regular diapers during the day, so it’s worth it to have extra on hand in my book!

4 packs of Honest Diapers, sizes 5 and 6 – Regularly $13.95/pack ($0.55 – $0.63 per diaper), save 22% with subscription

Holiday prints are here! Yay! I still got two packs of my old standby “Skulls”, but I was especially happy to see the “Snowy Roads” print with trees and presents on little cars. The other black and white print is called “Mountain Deer.”

Sadly it looks like all of the holiday diapers are now out of stock for bundle subscribers (at least in our size), but some are still available if you want to buy individual packs.

If you haven’t tried Honest Diapers before, you can see the texture a bit better in the above photo. They’re paper-y, not plastic-y like some brands.

4 pack of Honest Wipes – $18.95 ($4.95 individually)

I’m happy to report that nothing has changed about my love for these wipes! They’re perfect in every way: gentle for baby, unscented, with a great thickness and just the right amount of texture. I love these so much that I’d buy them even if I wasn’t a subscriber. (They are coming in handy for wiping runny noses in the winter time, too.)

I also got an add-on this month:

Honest Organic Healing Balm, 3 oz size – $12.95 ($9.71 with the add-on discount when you subscribe)

A few people have commented to recommend this Healing Balm, so I decided to check it out!

The consistency of this is like petroleum jelly, it’s thin and oily – but like Honest’s other products, it’s made without petroleum. The scent is mild and mainly comes from essential oils. So far, it’s been great for the same things I would have used petroleum jelly for, like minor irritations (particularly where the diaper elastic rubs my son’s legs) and dry skin.

A little bit goes a long way with this stuff, so I think this tube should last us the whole winter!

Honest Beauty Dry Skin Trial Kit – Estimated value $12? (Pro-rated price for sample products included)

This month, I also got the free Honest Beauty add-on for subscribers! This is my second box in a row with a freebie, too – I am getting used to this!

I believe this is the former free trial you’d receive if you sign up with Honest Beauty; it looks like they’ve recently updated the trial to also include foil pouch makeup samples, and it may no longer come in a pouch. I chose the kit for dry skin since winter weather has been rough on my face and hands: It includes a Gel Cleanser, Deep Hydration Cream, and Sheer Tint Sunscreen. The samples are a good enough size to try them for a few days and get a good feel for the product.

I normally use a cream cleanser, and I really liked how clean the Gel Cleanser left my skin feeling! I didn’t care for the Deep Hydration Cream, which left my face a little irritated (I normally moisturize exclusively with Cerave). I have yet to find a tinted sunscreen I really like, but this one wasn’t bad – after a few minutes, it wasn’t too greasy and left just the right amount of color. It seems ideal for winter but it feels like it might be a little heavy for summertime heat.

My son found another great use for our box this month, too: the perfect spot for warming up with some milk and all of his stuffed animals after playing in the snow! 🤗

Verdict: For $89.66 this month (bundle price + add-ons), I got $127.60 worth of products at their regular retail prices, delivered right to my door. My verdict is pretty much always the same: Honest is a little more expensive than some other diaper brands, but the quality and convenience are great, the prints are fun (especially those limited edition holiday designs!), and I’ve found the formulations of the add-on products I’ve used to be excellent so far. I would be super-duper happy if I could occasionally swap out the baby wipes for other Essentials products like hand soap, but otherwise, I’m a happy customer!

Do you subscribe to Honest Diapers? What ways have you found to use extra baby wipes?
