I really am enjoying this subscription. The brands and products they include are new to me, they have great curation and balance between salty and sweet, and they include many new-to-me healthy snack options. I like that they sometimes include coupons and they always have an information card.
Annie B's Peppermint Bark - Value $2.00
I love peppermint bark during the holiday season! The mix of white chocolate, dark chocolate, and peppermint flavor is perfect together. This peppermint bark was really good - most of everything I've tried from Annie B's is delicious!
Spearmint Chewing Gum - Xylichew - Value $1.89
Spearmint chewing gum is the only flavor I chew, so this is perfect for me! I've tried several chewing gums with xylitol and this one is my favorite so far. It seems to hold it's flavor a bit more than some other brands I've tried.
Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Soft Bake Biscotti - Value $1.20
This Pumpkin Pie biscotti has Guittard chocolate with the perfect amount of pumpkin and spice for a morning treat. I really enjoyed this with my coffee!
Lundberg Sea Salt Rice Chips - Value $0.61
These rice chips are quite good. The sea salt flavor really works well with the rice chips. I enjoyed these quite a bit more than I expected!
Freeze-Dried Fruit Crisps by Brothers All Natural - Value $0.90
Freeze-dried fruit is so much better than dried, in my humble opinion! I loved these - nice and crispy and flavorful.
Pasta Chips - Rosemary Flavor - Value $0.59
I've received several bags of Pasta Chips during the time I've reviewed this box - and I really enjoy all those that I try. The rosemary flavor is my favorite of all of them, though!
Pasta Chips - Marinara Flavor - Value $0.59
The tomato flavor comes through really nicely with these pasta chips. They're nice and crisp with a robust flavor of marinara.
Bitsy's BrainFood Smart Cookies - Orange Chocolate Beet - Value $0.64
These cookies are peanut free and tree nut free, have several important vitamins and minerals and are kosher. They're cut into letter shapes for educational purposes, and they taste great. The orange flavor comes through great and the beet flavor is non-existent.
Bitsy's BrainFood Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisins - Value $0.64
These cookies are also peanut free, tree nut free, and have the same vitamins and minerals as the orange chocolate beet cookies above. These are made with sweet potatoes. I enjoyed these as well - the only flavor that came through strongly for me was cinnamon.
Snaak Bar - White Chocolate Cranberry Crunch - Value $2.83
This energy bar has 11 super foods, 6 grams of protein, and 5 grams of fiber. The flavor I received, White Chocolate Cranberry Crunch was really good! I enjoyed this energy bar quite a bit.
Mediterra Savory Kale and Pumpkin Seed Bar - Value $2.59
Mediterra bars are one of the first savory snack bars that I tried. They don't always meet expectations but I thought this flavor was pretty good!
Tickle Water - Green Apple Sparkling Water - Value $1.25
Sparkling water is having a moment (maybe it always has been popular and I didn't know) and this sparkling water is designed for kids. Their tag line is "Fizz for Kids." SnackSack included a recipe for a honeydew, apple, cucumber, and mint fizz - it sounds delicious, but I wanted to try it straight up. I really enjoyed it - the flavor is as strong as the LaCroix Sparkling waters I've tried.
Verdict: The value of this month's SnackSack is $15.73. I've noticed a decline in the value of this box in the past six months or so. I really enjoy the variety of snacks that they provide but I'm curious to know how the decline in value has affected their subscription numbers. Either way, this month was a good month as far as variety goes and I enjoyed most of the products quite a bit!
