Reusable/Compact Tote - Listed Value $7

The accessory item this time around is a reusable tote bag! The material used here is a little stiffer than Baggu bags. They're also slightly wider than the standard Baggu. This tote folds into an attached pouch that, when unfolded, turns into a side pocket.

There were various designs sent out and this kitty and fish one is so adorable!

pinkseoul-box-november-december-2016-enzyme-powder-wash

Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Cleanser - $11

This is a gentle, low pH powder cleanser. I remember first hearing about it as a dupe for the AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel, so I was pretty excited to find it in the box this month.

The dispenser cap is designed to prevent you from pouring out the whole bottle at once.

The cleanser grains are a little chunky. Think laundry detergent powder size. Therefore, they take a little bit of lathering to turn into foam. That said, it lathers beautifully and makes my face feel clean without any dry side effects. This is a wonderful discovery!

pinkseoul-box-november-december-2016-peeling-gel

Calmia Oatmeal Peeling Gel - Value $16

Peeling gels are gentle exfoliants that pill up when you rub it into your skin. The pills are a combination of the gel and dead skin cells. This one is infused with honey and oatmeal, plus it is formulated to be suitable for sensitive skin. The sweet fragrance is a little strong for my tastes, but once I get past it, the pilling feels great.

pinkseoul-box-november-december-2016-tea-tree-oil

Tosowoong Tea Tree Oil - Value $18

This is made with 100% organic tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is an essential oil that has antibacterial properties and is great for sensitive or acne-prone skin. I love skincare infused with tea tree oil but I've never tried the concentrated stuff before. It is very pungent-- it has a strong herbal scent that can't be fully masked with other fragrances. Because it is so concentrated, a little will go a long way. I mix 1-2 drops with my essences in my nighttime routine.

pinkseoul-box-november-december-2016-nature-republic-mask

Nature Republic Aloe Mask Sheet - Value $2?

This cotton sheet mask contains aloe for hydrating, soothing, and healing properties. The mask fit is decent and the essence is very moisturizing. Residual essence absorbs quickly after I remove the mask, but it does leave skin somewhat sticky.

pinkseoul-box-november-december-2016-skinfood-mask

Skinfood Everyday Tomato Sheet Mask - Value $2?

This sheet mask has a subtle wavy texture woven into the cotton and it is slightly thicker than usual masks. The fragrance is pleasant while the essence feels great on my skin. However, the fit is average and the essence feels slightly sticky on my skin after use.

Etude House Water Tint in Strawberry Ade - Value $5

This is a long-lasting, pigmented lip tint. It is very similar to Benefit's Benetint in terms of consistency and wear. There were several shades sent out, and I received Strawberry Ade, a sheer purple-pink tint. The color is buildable and the longevity is amazing. However, the tint tends to accentuate any dry spots on my lips, and dry lips are the norm in winter! I will have to exfoliate and moisturize very well to make it work.

CosRx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence sample

Included in the box are two foil samples from CosRx. The Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is an essence of medium-thick, stringy consistency. It contains 96% snail mucin, which has an assortment of beneficial properties for the skin. There is a slightly tacky feeling after application but it goes away after a minute or so.

CosRx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask sample

The Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask contains 85% propolis extract and beeswax, which provide anti-bacterial, soothing, moisturizing, and anti-inflammatory properties. The cream is scentless and lightweight. When fully absrobed it doesn't feel sticky at all.

Verdict: This is nothing less than another fantastic PinkSeoul Box. The total value is $61, which is well above the cost of the box. I'm most thrilled with the Tosowoong enzyme powder and tea tree oil-- discovering these two items has made me an even bigger fan of the brand than before. Overall, the PinkSeoul curation is superb, and the reusable tote is such a fun find!
