OK…who thinks that it is worth buying a few just to get that hair mask? I tried is, and it’s as good as an average-priced mask gets. I get a lint roller and that incredible gloss as well…It seems like a total bargain.
Someone please stop me!

I tried to order one of the limited edition boxes a few weeks ago. When I put my address in the system kept telling me it was invalid. This is the only website I’ve ordered from that gave me trouble. I reached out to their customer service for assistance and they sent me a link to the USPS to look up my zip code. I replied that I knew my zip code the issue was their system was saying my address wasn’t valid and that wasn’t true because I’ve been getting shipments here for years. Their c/s basically sent me back to the USPS site telling me to find my valid shipping address there. Needless to say based on this exchange I will never purchase anything through this site. I can’t even imagine what a pain it would be if I had to return something or work with them over a problem with my order. I think I dodged a bullet.

Ann

Sometimes the address will show invalid if it’s different than USPS “official” address such as this:

1234 E. 7th St.
USPS way: 1234 E 7TH ST
I know it’s weird but the same thing has happened to me. Try not using periods and try caps the way I am showing above. Good luck!

Reply ButtonReply

Lunalee

That is frustrating. That happened to me with a store. There are different ways to input an address and this store wanted the USPS way. No initials. ie. Not ln but Lane, not Dr. but Drive. Or let’s say not St. John’s, use Saint John’s etc.

Reply ButtonReply

Brenda

The code says it’s invalid or has expired.

Reply ButtonReply

Valerie

Buyer beware!
Had the same issue. And worse!!!
I bought the voucher cyber monday and the voucher still didnt work!
Now, they are saying that gilt staff claimed my box to test if voucher is working.
I still havent received a new voucher code. I requested a refund and Gily wont give it to me

Reply ButtonReply

Betsy

This is probably a dumb question, but how does this work? I purchased one of the boxes but I haven’t gotten a “voucher” yet. Will one come by email, or does the box just ship to the address I have on file, or what?

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

The voucher comes by email.

Zara

I got the Timeless Glamour, so excited! Such a great deal. I don’t have any hats and am excited to try a new style. I already know I love Smith and Cult lipgloss and needed a lint roller. The rest is great too!

Carla

If anyone plans to order multiples of any of these AND you have an American Express card, check out the “offers for you” section of their web site. SOME Amex cards have an offer for a $40 rebate when you spend $200 at Gilt or Gilt City. You must sign up before you make the purchase and use that particular Amex card for your purchase to get the rebate.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

Well that sucks. I most likely M already getting some of that in my mystery boxes that I paid more for

Reply ButtonReply

Dharshi

If I were to buy the warm & cozy box today, when will it ship? Is there guaranteed shipping before Christmas?

Reply ButtonReply

Miranda

On the Gilt City PopSugar site this is what it says about shipping when you cash in your voucher:

Orders will ship within 7-10 business days via FedEx Smartpost. Orders placed by December 16, 2016 are guaranteed to arrive by December 24, 2016. Some exclusion apply. See FAQs for more details.

Renee

I ordered one on 12/12 that didn’t ship until today for 12/28 delivery. Super unhappy.

Dharshi

Thanks!

Constance

I wish they would offer the February box. I regret not subscribing just for that box.

Reply ButtonReply

Kim

That Feb box was amazing, it has been my all time favorite, loved the scarf and VS socks!

Reply ButtonReply

Briar

I’d love to split the box with someone. I like the perfume, swell bottle, and dry shampoo. Anyone interested?

Reply ButtonReply

Nina

I responded before but my comment seemed to dissappear. I am also interested in splitting or trading. I only want the sunglasses.

Reply ButtonReply

Nina

I would like to split too. I only want the sunglasses.

Reply ButtonReply

Natalie

Briar, I like the sunglasses, cover up and pouch. How would we split?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

I keep thinking about it, but even at $100, the CFDA box just isn’t worth it. I like the S’well bottle and the sunglasses, but I hate dry shampoo, I’m not a perfume person, and the cover-up and the bag just seem like complete misses for me. If the bag was cooler, I’d be more tempted. I think this thing has to go down to $50 to get me to buy it. And since I’m a Popsugar addict, that’s a sad commentary.

Reply ButtonReply

Rosemary

LOL! I really don’t like that cover-up. Thankfully almost that entire box was a total miss for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Tracy

Thanks Liz! I ordered the warm & cozy box with the discount 🙂

I understand the frustration when PS has specials that exclude current subscribers or when they announce a new offer for a box you already purchased, but you cannot get upset about deals on third party websites. If I purchased something directly from a store and they lowered the price the next day, I’d expect most reputable retailers to honor the sale for me per their price adjustment policy. Companies that do this include: Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Express, Amazon, Gap, Anthropologie, Toys R Us, Victoria’s Secret, Old Navy, Nordstrom’s, J Crew, Macy’s, Costco, JC Penney, etc. However, it’s different when you find a cheaper price later on a third party website. Would you go out to eat at a restaurant, pay full price, and then complain if that restaurant starts offering a Groupon the next week? Of course not. Several sub companies occasionally offer specials on Gilt City, Groupon, and other third party deals websites. I’ve seen LLB, BOTM, Barkbox, Pet Gift Box, Loot Crate, etc. It’s not just PSMH.

Reply ButtonReply

Cali

What are your thoughts if the SAME 3rd party website is now offering a cheaper price 2 weeks later?
I purchased this same set of boxes through Gilt City 2 weeks ago, and the CFDA was $125, and the others were $25. Just curious since we actually are comparing apples to apples in terms of the seller…

Reply ButtonReply

stfne

Technically, the products are still the same price. It’s the offer code that’s different, and I assume the code can be used for anything on their site, not just PSMH boxes. And this is not uncommon. I get various offer codes from companies on a regular basis…Groupon, Shutterfly, Victoria’s Secret, Express, CVS, Honest Co., etc.

Dinielle

Good point! I got one of these boxes from popsugar for 25 normal sub with coupon code and another box from gilt for 20 earlier this month. I don’t feel too bad because i’ve had all this time to enjoy my items and have any of the gift items ready for xmas! If you don’t like it then don’t sign up for the on going subscription. You can wait it out and hope it goes on sale for cheaper, but thats not guaranteed. Having the sub does guarantee that but there are risks to not liking the items in the box. Theres pros and cons to both. I don’t have any issue with a 3rd party company selling them for cheaper. Its like marshalls or TJmaxxx but for online.

Reply ButtonReply

SMZ

Agreed! Either way you go, you may end up envious of others. If you sub to the box, you pay more but you are guaranteed a box (especially those fabulous ones) and you are the Trendsetter, the first to have the products. If you are a gambler, sure you may save some money, but you also may be envious of the sold out boxes. It’s simple supply and demand so don’t get angry with a company trying to clear out product!

Rosemary

Yes…you are correct and being very rational. However, sometimes people (such as myself) just want to piss and moan. And, another yes, I have pissed and moaned on this thread. Nonetheless, you are 100% correct.

Reply ButtonReply

stfne

Haha Rosemary! Well, at least you can acknowledge your real motives 😉 Everyone gets to vent sometimes!

Wendy

I do not know what their intentions are, do they want more people to try the popsugar boxes or do they just want to sell them and get the money. I had bought 2 nov boxes on one account, 1 CFDA on my 2nd account, and later decided to buy another CFDA on my 3rd account. since then I could not get any coupons to work.

Reply ButtonReply

CaliforniaJanet

I think their intention is to get rid of a bunch of overstock. I don’t think the CFDA box was super popular…so they have overstock. As far as the other boxes…who knows why they had so many leftovers; if I had to guess I’d say it was because people let their subs lapse in the Fall, waiting for a Black Fri/Cyber Monday deal (which did indeed come along!) I could be wrong…but then again, if you’re able to sell your boxes for $39.95, you’re not going to drop the price to $20…this reeks of desperation/overstock issues to me.

Heathery

I went ahead and got the Warm and Cozy box since I’m not a subscriber and I’ll use everything except that silly book–which will immediately go up on PaperBackSwap.com. But yeah, I’d be annoyed if I was a subscriber who had paid $40 for these boxes that they’re discounting so heavily.

Reply ButtonReply

Laurie

I’m a PBSer too! Unfortunately, I looked, and nobody wants the book there!!

Reply ButtonReply

Heathery

Oh man, for real? Maaaaaaaan, this book was totally a bust, wasn’t it? hahaha

Michelle

Wow they can’t give this box away. If the book was appealing I would have already purchased this box on another sale and then i would be mad they are doing it cheaper.

Reply ButtonReply

Darcie Westhoff

Makes me wonder why I even have a subscription with PS. The non-subscribers get a better deal.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

Anyone have the Popsugar customer service phone number ? I can’t find one

Reply ButtonReply

Jeein

I jumped on board with $20/month sub through the Black Friday deal, but I’m regretting it now. I can get all the past boxes for $15 on Gilt City (or $25 plus 2 free movie tickets!) and actually choose the boxes I want. Why did I subscribe? I just got my first box of the 6 month sub, and I’m already regretting it 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Ali

I finally subscribed because at under $20 a month because there were often things I wanted but didn’t want to pay full price or the slightly discounted $5 off they usually run.

I also didn’t want to have to wait months until the boxes made it to Gilt to see a real discount. Often those deals are only for new subscribers and I didn’t want to have to keep track of or create accounts just to save what would be less than $2.50 a box ($20 – $17.50). I understand it adds up over time but the price difference in the “now” wasn’t that big of an issue to me.

Michelle

The two free movie tickets is kind of a scam. It’s only for the first 500 buyers, and they don’t tell you if you qualified or not. Chances are that they’ve had way more than 500 people use that code so far. So you waste your one promo code on that and actually get nothing.

Amy

Not only that, if you really want something, you can get it on ebay. I bought a bunch of PS stuff because it looked so enticing and everyone loved it, but I am totally having buyer’s remorse and am like, what am I going to DO with this stuff? No one wants it!

Reply ButtonReply

Rosemary

I am sorry to hear that you don’t like what you bought. Are you trying to swap this stuff? No one seems to want the black hat (but no one will swap it for less than “retail value”). For the most part I do enjoy what is in the normal PopSugar boxes. I feel like I am being torn a new one when they sell boxes for so little, and I paid the full price of a monthly sub. I think they are getting crowded out of the good deals by all of the newer boxes.

Ariana

I keep wishing for the August (?) box with the Baggu!

Reply ButtonReply

Rosemary

Yes…I am a subscriber, and I am not too happy. Even though its a good deal, I already have all of these items, so they won’t get any more of my funds.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I can’t make the CITYSIGHTS code work. It says it’s invalid or expired. Anyone else able to make that happen?

Reply ButtonReply

Sherry

The CITYSIGHTS code isn’t working

Reply ButtonReply

Constance

It worked for me and I just logged into my old account.

Reply ButtonReply

Clutterbee

I was able to get it to work, but as Liz said, I think it has to be on an account where you haven’t used the code previously. I tried to order a second through my other email and it said the code had already been applied to my account. The welcome20 appears to be working still for $5 off making the box $20.

Reply ButtonReply

Miranda

Oh! Good to know 🙂 I bought the Timeless Glamour box and went to buy the Warm and Cozy one and accidentally forgot to use the code on the second one! I was sort of annoyed I could have saved $7 more but since it wouldn’t have worked anyway that’s a plus. I quit subscribing to PS a few months ago so haven’t received these boxes, and was wanting the hair conditioner, makeup remover, nail kit, Smith gloss, and that body oil shower stuff, all things I NEED so I’m feeling really good about getting this great deal! Glad I held out!

Liz Cadman

You may need to create a new account to use this code. I’ll update the post to indicate that.

Tat

How low will they go? If I were a subscriber, I wouldn’t be happy…
