JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices on everything in their store. On the first of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Boutique’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how ShoeDazzle, Fabletics and AdoreMe work.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes)

Swing Plaid Tunic – retail $49.95 (VIP price: $34.95)

For November, I chose this plaid tunic. This shirt style & pattern falls far outside my comfort zone! I’m happy to report that my Boutique was fully stocked and inventory in my size was back to normal from last month, so there was no shortage of options. However, the brakes screeched to a halt when I saw the model wearing this tunic. So why pick something I normally wouldn’t when there were a ton of options?

I loved this silhouette! This button-down has an over-sized, almost tent silhouette and seriously comfortable. I also like that although a buffalo plaid, it’s made with navy and burgundy, instead of the traditional black and red. The fabric is 100% rayon, but it’s thick similar to flannel.

Here’s a look at the back gathering.

On a super casual day, I will pair this button-down with basic black leggings. However, I wanted to layer this look to get some additional wear out of my summer denim. I plan to wear this outfit to brunch this weekend!

Basic Beanie – retail $12.95 (VIP price: $7.95)

This month, I didn’t place an order by the 5th and had a $39.95 credit in my account. What I didn’t realize until now is that JustFab requires you to use the entire credit in one transaction instead of having a remaining balance. So, since the shirt’s VIP price is $34.95, I had $5 that needed to be spent.

I chose this pink blush beanie as a second item. It is 100% acrylic and fairly thick and warm. I don’t care for how it looks on, but it’s a nice staple item to throw on in the autumn months.

I also received a $100 wine voucher to nakedwines.com.

Verdict: I am overall happy with this month’s JustFab! My personal boutique was fully stocked in my size, but like that I went outside my comfort zone. The value of the tunic and beanie definitely exceed the $39.95 monthly price tag.

What did you choose this month from JustFab?

  1. Thanks for the review!

I really like seeing the different styling options. I find myself doing the same thing over and over again and whenever I read your reviews it inspires me to change it up. Thanks!
