I love that I can personalize my box. I didn’t want any of the three items they chose, but I got three things I really wanted to try! I am so glad I subscribed to this box!!

Thank goodness for that! They were going to send me a clear lip gloss, yawn. I’m glad they let us choose what we get and we can even restock our skincare if we feel overloaded with nail polish. Since I just got the 12-piece free gift with a new sub, I definitely don’t have an urgent need for more nail polish anytime soon.

Me too! I intended to skip this month but I couldn’t believe the value on the Mini Maven box. I love all of the colors except the glitter.

I meant top coat, the box is called Mani Maven.

I was afraid to try to oil, but then I read it might actually help improve rosacea. We’ll see! I also chose the sunscreen as my other item because I’ve been meaning to get it eventually. I’m hoping to find one that doesn’t make me look super oily.

I bought the 6-month sub in November and they messed something up, so this will be my first Maven box, but I bought other products since buying the sub and have liked them so far. If Rosemary sees this, that’s why I never got back about what products I received in my first Maven box!

I really suggest going to look at the January collection page on the Julep site. I was unexcited about some of the polishes but then they showed photos of different layering combinations, which made it hard for me to choose because I liked a lot of them. (I am trying to stick to only my monthly box selections and no add-ons unless they are free with Jules for 2017. We’ll see how that goes.)

I put other stuff in my box, then did the iridescent collection add-on, which makes those polishes only $5 each.

I did the same thing! I absolutely LOVE the choices this month! I thought last months collection was kind of blah so this is awesome! In my box I’m getting the face oil (which sounds intriguing) and the Gabby and Erin nail polishes. I added on the irredescent collection to layer over the polishes in my box, a clear lip oil and a cuticle polish remover. Not bad for only $35 extra (I had some points to spend.) I’ve never been tempted to do the add-ons before but they got me this month…I just couldn’t narrow down what polishes I wanted.

Carolann

I agree. I’ve been playing around with layering polishes (sheers and jellies) and these look like a great addition. While it does irk me that I’ll need to buy more polishes to pull of a single look, I do like the idea of customization.

Definitely getting that oil. I currently use a vitamin C concentrate, and I’m eager to see the difference between the 2. Also getting the green creme, and the reddish iridescent polish.
