An info card was included detailing the products I received and this month’s theme: Finishing Touches.

Tortoise Shell Hair Clip – Listed Value $8.00

This little hair clip is really cute. I really like the styling of it and I always love tortoise shell anything. I don’t really have much use for it since I don’t usually use hair clips like this. I am going to pass this along to someone that will love it!

Curved Pony Barrette – Listed Value $12.00

Next up, we have this curved pony hair barrette. I was pretty impressed with this clip; all my hair fit in it. I don’t have super thick hair, but it’s also not really thin and no hair clip can usually hold all of it.

This one felt secure in my hair and I like the color of it quite a bit. It matches my hair color and blends in just enough that it can pretty much go with any outfit.

Pastel Styling Hair Clip Set – Total Value $8.00

These styling hair clips are really pretty. They are very secure, which means that if you’re truly using these as styling clips, you run the risk of crimping your hair if you leave them in too long. Outside of that, I really love them! They can also be used as an accessory as well if you need to keep little hairs up and out of the way or sweep your bangs back behind your ear.

White/Cream Swirl Bauble Ponytail Holder – Listed Value $8.00

This accessory is included in the deluxe box only. I really love the color of this bauble and think that it is perfect for winter. The only complaint I have is that the elastic itself has the little metal piece that can rip out my hair. I was also thinking that it would be a bummer if the elastic broke, but figured I could always open up one of these hair ties and use it to replace the original. This elastic went around my hair twice comfortably.

Verdict: This month’s Eternally in Amber Deluxe Box has a value of $36.00. I know there is some disappointment that the box went from 4-6 accessories to 3-4, which is a major bummer for those subscribers that committed for longer than one month. Overall, I really enjoy the items that I receive in this box, and think that the cost is worth the value of the products I receive.

Have you tried Eternally in Amber

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!

  1. I tried this box with a little fear. I have super fine , limp hair and was afraid it wouldn’t work on it. Boy, was I wrong! The items works perfectly on any type of hair ( my daughter has thick hair and it was also a hit). No pulling, no breaks . The quality is simply beautiful, and I am not easily impressed. I went back and bought a few more items with the promo code and couldn’t be happier. I would totally recommend this box for anyone who likes pretty hair products.
