I found the coffee scrub to be very difficult to use: it did not easily rinse from the shower and left the “floor” very slippery. It was much better as a lip scrub. So word to the wise — unless you want to spend a lot of clean up time only use the scrub on very small areas of your body like your lips. It works great and leaves your lips nice and smooth and moisturized.

Everything other than the eyeliners came in my mystery box as well, along with a few other items. I disagree that the mascara is smudgeproof, at least with my oily eyelids. But pretty much everything smudges for me. Looking for my holy grail still! Also, the coffee scrub is only half full and Benevolent said this is how they came from the vendor, and the eye serum is made of mostly oil and is super oily, obviously, and I can only put this on at night and hope it doesn’t get in my eye or on my pillowcase. I was kind of disappointed because I’ve really enjoyed many of the Benevolent reviews, but the mystery box items didn’t thrill me. I have sensitive, oily combo skin, so I can’t use most face oils or serums either. If anyone is interested, I have some of the items I didn’t use on my swap page (click my name), including some skincare I can’t use and a pretty lipstick in mauve, a color that never works for my skin tone.
