BabyBin has just started a monthly subscription box that brings you age and gender appropriate products for you and your baby to keep! They previously had a subscription model that felt like a “Stitch Fix of baby boxes,” where they sent you a “styled/curated” box filled with items and you would pay only for what you keep. I really like their new model better. I’d much rather pay a flat rate for a subscription that will bring me a good value in surprise baby products because I can go to the store and touch, feel, and buy toys and clothes and gear at full-price myself at any time on my own. I’m really glad they changed their model because I always loved the products they sent.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This personalized info card was included in my box and lists the products we received, along with their values.

Carter’s Snail Onesie Bodysuit – Listed Value $6

I love getting baby clothes from subscription boxes and BabyBin has delivered regularly for that! This snail onesie is really cute. Unfortunately this time of year, it’ll be hidden as an extra layer under sweaters and coats, but it’s still adorable. I’m happy to see Carter’s brand, too.

Munchkin Shake and Squirt Bath Toys – Value $5.59

These are so cute (and match the snail onesie). The shells are little rattles and they’re squishy so you can squirt water in the tub. The only thing is that there’s not really an easy way to squeeze them well so I’m debating just having these be normal, non-bath toys. Either way, they’re nice!

Munchkin Fruity Friends – Value $9.18

I sound like a broken record, but my goodness these are super cute! The fruit basket strains water and the little orange, apple, and pear can squirt water.

I love these, but I really wish the basket were big enough to hold all 3 fruits well; I can see how babies would want to collect them all into the basket while in the bath.

Papillon Pop Up Forest Friends Musical Activity Toy – Value: $28.58

This is definitely the “hero” item of the box! It’s a fantastic little pop-up toy that has different buttons and knobs and switches to make the little creatures pop up out of their flower pots.

baby-bin-december-2016-items6

This is a fantastic toy! The only thing I’m confused about is why the heck the title on the info card (and online) both say it’s a musical activity toy because there is nothing musical about it. The box doesn’t even say so, so I feel like that’s misleading. It’s a great toy but if it actually played music it would be even better.

Verdict: I am really happy with my second BabyBin box of their new model (which is just a regular monthly, auto-renewing subscription now). The products are all very good quality from brands I really love. I feel like they have featured a lot of bath toys this month and last, but that’s fine, especially because the ones this month could really be toys in or out of the bath, and I like them. The value for this box adds up to $49.35, which is lower than last month but still good for a $33 box.  I’m definitely excited for future deliveries from BabyBin!

What do you think about BabyBin? Have you tried them before? Do you like that they changed their subscription model?
