The theme for November 2016 is Breakfast!
The box came with a little magazine listing all the items included. There are 8 items total.
It also included some more information on Rilakkuma, how to brew your tea, and a photo contest!
Shinada Baby Nature Plushie
I received the adorable Baby Alpaca! The other possible plushies you could have received were Baby Tiger, Baby Cat, or Baby Baku.
This plushie is so sweet! It is so soft and fluffy! I was surprised at how big it is. This really is so cute with its puffy body and teeny legs! After a few days of having this around my cat stopped being scared of it and has been carrying this around in his mouth to snuggle with it. It's one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Definitely a cute addition to a plush collection or a great cat toy!
Sumikko Gurashi Sushi Rubber Keychain Charm
I think I could eat sushi at every meal so while I don't normally associate it with breakfast, I'm not against the idea! I love the characters of Sumikko Gurashi, especially in sushi form!
Enogumasan 2-Way Marker
It's always good to keep a writing utensil on hand so I'll gladly keep this in my purse.
I like it has two sides to choose from. The thicker tip is like a felt tipped marker, while the thinner side is better for writing. It's a nice surprise on a simple pen which makes it more versatile.
Here's a better look at the cute polar bears on the side of the pen!
Kawaii Mini Notepad
This mini notepad is a great accompaniment to the 2-way marker. This box included a mini notepad from Obento Mate or FuniFuni Marshmallow. I received the Obento Mate notepad.
The Obento Mate notepad has 100 sheets and two patterns. This mini notepad is only a couple inches long and perfect to keep in my purse for any urgent list-making or note-taking.
Both designs in the notepad feature cute little characters and sushi.
Rilakkuma Tea Party Darjeeling Tea Bags
What a cute way to drink tea! This Rilakkuma tea set came with three tea bags.
These tea bags are so adorable and the darjeeling tea had a really light, easy flavor. This would be a yummy tea for breakfast.
The top of the tea bag shows Rilakkuma doing what he does best, relaxing! This hangs over the side of the cup while the tea steeps. YumeTwins is running a photo contest too so be sure to tags your photos of Rilakkuma with #YUMETWINS and #TEATIME for a chance to win some Sailor Moon prizes!
Sanrio Gudetama Stickers
When Gudetama was introduced to the world a few years ago, he quickly became one of my favorite characters. This three pack of stickers show this little lazy egg in various states of repose.
I put the smallest one on my computer and I'm saving the others for my planner or letters to friends. A friend gifted me Gudetama stationery a couple years ago so these stickers will fit right in!
Re-Ment Sailor Moon Sweets Mascot
There were six variations available in this blind box item. I got the Crystal Star Cupcake! It's always fun to have a blind box item, especially when every option is cute! I really like Re-Ment miniatures so this keychain is a win for me.
Sanrio Kirimichan Post-it
Kirimichan is a little salmon filet character. I've been using these little post-its in my daily planner because I don't mind any reminder coming from an adorable little piece of salmon.
I like the variety of sizes included in this little pack. I've been using these for little notes, reminders, and tabs in my notebooks. A salmon filet isn't typically the character I would pick out first but I've really been enjoying these post-its!
Verdict: YumeTwins is such a cute box. The influence of the Breakfast theme was sweet. I always enjoy stationery items and this box is definitely rounding out my collection. I'm starting to feel a little overloaded on keychains so, while this one was cute, I'm hoping for a break from them! The Sailor Moon charm was a highlight! That charm and the large plushie were definitely the higher ticket items in this month's box. The combination of the Sailor Moon item, plushie, and tea covered the value of this box for me. Those are higher ticket items I really enjoy and probably wouldn't have found on my own. The rest was more like the little things I would pick up at a kawaii shop and I'd definitely put it all to good use. YumeTwins is always such a joy to open and is quickly becoming one of my favorite boxes.
