This month's Switch was shipped via USPS Priority mail and came with a prepaid return label. The welcome card also comes with instructions on how to return the jewelry. Switch will always use USPS First Class mail to send your jewelry unless it weighs more than 1 pound.

When you sign up for Switch, you take a look at all the pieces in their collection and select your favorites. They then match your picks with what they have available and send you the number of pieces that match the plan you've chosen. You choose from actual items in their collection and not just something in a similar style.

This month I picked items from famous luxury brands as a special treat.

Balenciaga Classic Stud Cuff (Goldtone) - Value $585, Member Price $410

This Balenciaga cuff is a heavy, sturdy piece of statement jewelry. It is made of polished goldtone brass and decorated with textured studs that remind me of microphones. This was my first time ever holding anything from Balenciaga so it felt pretty special. The piece is definitely too much look and too heavy for daily wear, but a lot of fun for a night out. It's important that I note that the true color of this cuff is a goldtone, and not a rose gold - my pink backdrop cast a pink light on this piece.

The cuff came in a branded Balenciaga drawstring bag.

The cuff is branded with the Balenciaga name on the inside. You can see some spots on the bracelet in this photo that are likely minor damage caused from other people renting this piece.

Here is the cuff on my wrist. I have small wrists that taper quickly into thicker arms. The cuff is pretty large so someone with slimmer arms might find the bracelet to fall too far down their arm.

So shiny!

Hermes Jumbo Hook Wrap Bracelet - Value $395, Member Price $277

This Hermes bracelet is a lighter, more everyday piece of jewelry than the Balenciaga cuff. The leather is round and feels comfortable on the wrist. Hook and loop are well made but I was a little nervous about losing this while wearing it! The slim styling of these piece makes it understated while still feeling special. I usually save my Switch rental pieces to wear out for special dinners or events, but this feels right for everything from errands to date night.

Here is the bracelet on my wrist. It falls and at a more comfortable place on my arm and would look nice layered with other bracelets.

I ended up liking this piece a lot more than I thought I would!

Verdict: I went a little bolder this month with Switch and I'm looking forward to doing more so next month! This month I got to try out two luxury brands, Balenciaga and Hermes, both of which I've never worn before. The bracelets were very different in their boldness and style but that's what's fun about Switch. The total value of my rental this month was $980 which is great for the $49/month rental fee for 2 pieces at once. I'm hoping to try some bold earrings next month so stay tuned!

This is so tempting! I think I’ll wait until the holidays are over so I don’t miss a package while I’m visiting family!

Balenciaga and Hermes, love it! What a great way to find out if a piece works for you before laying out all that cash! Great review, Emily! Excited to see what you get next.

I love Hermes! What a treat to be able to wear the jewelry without purchasing it!! The only problem is that I think I might have a hard time sending it back. 😉
