Province Apothecary products! More info from Pearlesque Box:

After struggling with allergies and eczema all her life, Julie Clark began crafting natural, organic beauty products out of her kitchen. In 2010 Julie began studying Aromatherapy, Holistic Health and Esthetics in Toronto. Here she formed the foundation of her skincare expertise, experimenting with raw materials and natural ingredients.

For Julie, natural beauty goes beyond simply organic and wild-crafted ingredients; natural beauty means a pledge to helping clients feel good in their own skin. "I gather so much inspiration from my clients, the weather, and the seasons," says Julie, of her individually-tailored approach to skin care. Her facial treatments often include hand-blended masks using local produce and seasonally appropriate, farmer-friendly ingredients. While PA has long outgrown the kitchen, Julie's devotion to fresh, wild-crafted, seasonal, and organic beauty continues. Now a certified holistic esthetician and aromatherapist, Julie remains committed to innovation, sustainability, and small-batch skin care of the highest quality.

What a great value, and it all sounds so lovely! Wish this wasn’t our crazy season starting in October – Halloween anniversary, seven birthdays- our little family all between 29 Nov-29 Dec, plus four extended family birthdays, and then the dang holidays mixed in there. Can’t justify extraneous purchases with so many gifts, holiday prep and the expenses for them ☹️ Every year I say I’ll start earlier, every year I wind up quite frustrated and stressed- I shouldn’t even look at any posts this time if year! Wish I didn’t have something big on my birthday/ Yuletide season list, or I’d pull that trigger!

This is seriously question my “no-buy subs until next rule” I implemented for myself back in June. I find that I get more joy from these natural boxes that focus more on quality vs quantity (although this month’s box does have a lot of products in it, which is always awesome).

I’ve already made my list of subs I will definitely purchase in January, and Pearlesque is on that list. 🙂

Really is a quality sub box. I’ve decided to do the same. I’ve narrowed it down to goodbeing, Sephora Play and Pearlesque. Maybe try spa Heros next year but after trying tons of boxes those are the ones that have consistently delivered and worth their money.

I meant to say that I plan on keeping my subscription to Goodbeing. I’m currently subscribed to them now on an annual prepaid, and I love them! I just got my November box today, and ever since they started to let us pick one or two products (which are always full sized!), my boxes have been superb. They are one of the rare boxes that definitely takes into account our profiles, as I’ve never received anything I marked as I didn’t want.

Luna

I actually plan on re-subscribing to Goodbeing as well next year! 🙂 In addition to re-subscribing to Pearlesque (and maintaining my sub to Play) I also plan on resubscribing to Beauty Heroes. I quit all of my non-prepaid subs in June, so I’ve been having some box envy these past few months and can’t wait until I subscribe again in January. I believe this month Beauty Heroes is featuring Josh Rosebrook products. This will my 2nd time missing that featured brand. Arg!

If you like Pearlesque and Beauty Heroes, you may also want to check out Art of Organics Clean Beauty Box and Boxwalla Beauty Box. They’re at a higher price point, but the products they include are of such good quality and pretty high RV (which doesn’t hurt).

In addition to all of the boxes mentioned above, I plan on either re-subscribing to, or continue subscribing to (once the prepaid ends) Petit Vour (their boxes seem to have gotten better since I cancelled), Satva, Glowing Beets, Foxy Boxy, S&G, Vegan Cuts & Yuzen. This list isn’t all inclusive either(!), but I will be cancelling all of my subs in June/July next year to give myself a 6-month hiatus from sub boxes, which allows me to get excited about them again. 🙂

I’ve been watching this box for months and I think this one will get me to pull the trigger. I love skincare and have been making the move toward all natural products. After canceling one of my ipsy subs, Allure and Glossybox, I more than cover the cost of this. I’m confident I’ll use all these products and LOVE Pearlesques ultra strict standards. Gives me confidence in the brands they include. I also really love the thought of multiple products from ONE great brand. After many months of multiple beauty boxes, I’m left trying to figure out how to layer them and actually use all the products I keep. I might actually give Beautyfix a break too. Love the values and tools they include, but I am one person and have at least a years worth of products. Time to switch to other subs. I REALLY want Robb Vices – might be my xmas gift to myself.
