Snow Leopard Trust Fish Cat Toy – Value $9.95
This is made from felted wool and as far as my cats were concerned, it was (by far) the most interesting thing in the box.
Housecat Club Organic Catnip Toy, Pumpkin Pie Slice – Value $6?
I didn’t see this on the Housecat Club site but it seems similar to the pizza slice so I gave it the same value. I didn’t get many good photos with it, but my cats did seem to enjoy playing with it – they like lightweight toys like this.
Ruff & Whiskerz Meowbox Exclusive Catnip Toy, Cheeseburger – Value $5?
This is custom-made for Meowbox and doesn’t look anything like other Ruff & Whiskerz toys, so the value is an estimate. I like when Meowbox includes exclusive toys as I feel this increases the value of the box somewhat.
Heritage Farms Maple Bacon Recipe Artisan Cat Treats (1.76 oz) – Value $5?
This is made by a Canadian company, exclusively for Meowbox, so I could not find them online. The value is an estimate based on other freeze-dried meat treats. Sneaky ate a few of these but Madison and Monkey weren’t too into them. Well, I guess you can’t win them all.
Gratuitous cat photos ahead…
They all thought this fish was interesting.
Madison inspecting the treats.
Monkey sniffs things. He will rub his chin on anything.
These stayed on her back for a long time.
She liked the fish toy, too.
Sneaky with the treats. I love the last photo.
Mr. Kitty was hanging out in his favorite spot in the bathroom so I took the toys to him. He was pretty sleepy and noncooperative…
Verdict: I calculated a value of about $26 for the November Meowbox. That is a pretty typical value for Meowbox although it is below the month-to-month price of the subscription. Although my cats liked the toys, and I was happy to see some exclusive toys and treats, I really would like to see one more item to round out the value of the box. (Please be aware the value could be off by a little since I had to estimate some prices.)
What did you think of the November 2016 Meowbox? Do you subscribe to any cat boxes?
