Cucina Sea Salt and Amalfi Lemon Concentrated Dish Detergent, 16.9 fl oz. – Value $14.99
The scent of this clear detergent was very subtle but clean. It’s not particularly special to look at or use, but it does stand out as a biodegradable, plant-based cleaning product that hasn’t been animal tested.
Cucina Coriander and Olive Tree Hand Soap with Olive Oil, 6.7 fl oz. – Value $10.50
The olive oil aspect of this soap did make it feel softer and less moisture-stripping than other hand soaps I’ve used. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it moisturizing, as that aspect disappears pretty quick from your skin. I love the sophisticated packaging, though. It looks very elegant sitting by my sink.
Aloe Facial Cleansing Foam, 5.7 fl oz. – Value $7.00
I liked this cleansing foam’s fresh scent. It did definitely clean my face, but the moist feeling didn’t last as long as I’d have liked.
Fruits and Passion Beaute Cleansing Water Foam, 5.0 fl oz. – Retail value $12.50
This foam was light and refreshing. It didn’t have any particular fragrance, nor did it stand out to me as a cleanser. I tend to like more exfoliating cleansers, though, so I may have been wanting something more revitalizing than this simple, straightforward cleanser.
Kate Shower Gel, 6.7 fl oz. – Value $8.40
At first, I was worried because this shower gel arrived… separated. The creamy, whitish liquid was floating at the top half of the bottle, and a peachy, oily liquid was at the bottom. It seems like that’s NBD according to the company website, so I went with it. With a few shakes, the two separated sections mixed right up again. The “gel” was more like a milky fluid, but it was incredibly soft and supple on my shower skin. After I hopped out of the shower and dried my hair, I still noticed notes of the powdery, yet earthy, feminine scent lingering around me. This isn’t anything like your typical shower gel, but it does smell and feel fantastic.
Vanilla Pineapple Candle, 5.8 oz – Value $10.85
This candle smells so nice! Like a pineapple mimosa with sweet and tangy notes.
It comes in this amber frosted glass holder. With its vanilla notes, this candle is a warm, autumn-friendly take on tropical flair.
Red Ginseng Sheet Mask – Value $2.50
The ginseng in this mask is supposed to nourish the skin. I didn’t experience any dramatic changes to my skin, but it did feel smooth and moist after having the sheet mask’s serum soaking into it. I really love these little sheet masks—I like to pamper myself on quiet nights in by lighting a pretty candle, popping something fun on Netflix, and letting a sheet mask give me a mini facial.
Anti-Aging Collagen Sheet Mask – Value $3.50
This mask was fun, too. Again, I’m not sure that I experienced any lasting effects, but my face did feel plump and moist after I used this sheet mask!
Verdict: I love that Fruits&Passion creates plant-based products that are more eco-friendly than many other household products out there. That said, only one or two of the products really delighted me. The others were super practical and appreciated, but they didn’t feel special in the way I’d hope from such a neat company with so much colorful, uniquely fragrant items. What is awesome is the fact that the value of this box hit $70.24, which is way beyond the $39.00 price tag. Earth-friendly, full-size items for a great deal? This box is definitely worth a try.
