Degustabox always sends a full informational sheet with values (I always double check these values and add in the current value of the product that I find online, just to ensure that I am giving a correct value judgment!), along with recipes and coupons.

degusta-box-november-2016-ginger-beer

Bruce Cost Ginger Beer - Listed Value $3.00

I really love ginger ale and ginger beer. My favorite ginger beer is Reed's but this brand is really good too. It is less spicy than the Reed's and really smooth! It's a nice change from my usual.

degusta-box-november-2016-tikka-poppyseed-balsamic

Sharwood's Tikka Masala - Value $4.66

Tikka Masala is one of my favorite Indian dishes of all time. I love the rich flavors, mixed with the cream and spiciness. Sharwood's included a recipe for a chicken Tikka Masala Pizza to use the sauce if you don't want to use it in the usual way. The flavor of this sauce was really great - I haven't had a chance to use it in a recipe yet, but I dipped some warm naan in it and it was outstanding.

Ponti Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena - Listed Value $5.99

Balsamic glazes are great because they can be used with so many different dishes. I love using a little bit over a Caprese salad, drizzle it over roasted Brussels sprouts with dried cranberries and slivered almonds, or using it as a finishing touch on pasta or other dishes. This glaze is really great - nice and sweet with the deep flavor of balsamic!

Briannas Poppy Seed Dressing - Listed Value $3.99

Degustabox included a holiday slaw recipe for this dressing in the box this month and it sounds delicious! I popped this open for a quick taste and it was delicious. I think I need to make the slaw (with apples, cranberries, and broccoli slaw) this holiday season!

degusta-box-november-2016-beanitos

Beanitos White Bean Chips - Hint of Lime - Value $0.44

These were quite good! The flavor was great, and the texture was exactly like a tortilla chip to me. The only problem is that all four bags of chips that I received came completely bashed. There were no whole chips which is a bummer.

Beanitos White Bean Chips - Nacho Cheese - Value $1.00

These were also really good. They taste like cheese, but a tiny bit like refried beans too. They're corn free, all natural, gluten-free and vegetarian. I highly recommend trying these.

degusta-box-november-2016-haribo-honey

Haribo Sour Gummi Bears - Value $3.15

Haribo is the gold standard of gummy bears. These were really good - fresh, flavorful, and just sour enough to be fun!

Honees Honey Lemon Drops - Value $2.52

These honey lemon drops came at a really great time. This time of year my allergies act up and my throat gets raw - these were really soothing and I loved the flavor.

degusta-box-november-2016-jerky-olives

Chef's Cut Real Steak Jerky Chipotle Cracked Pepper - Value $6.99

My husband tried this steak jerky and said it was quite good. The flavor was slightly spicy and the texture was a little softer than most jerky!

Oloves Basil and Garlic Natural Green Pitted Olives - Value $2.00

These olives were really good. I love that they have small packages of more briney treats - perfect for those of us that love olives but won't finish an entire jar!

degusta-box-november-2016-nib-mor

Nib Mor All Natural Superfruit Cherry - Value $1.49

I love the dark chocolate with cherries in this chocolate bar. The chocolate was really smooth and the cherry flavor blended so well!

Nib Mor All Natural Superfruit Blueberry - Value $1.49

The blueberry and dark chocolate version of this bar was also really good. Neither bar has any pieces of actual fruit that I could discern but the flavor was definitely there.

Verdict: The value of this month's Degustabox was $39.57. I think this box is one of the best value food boxes out there right now. You get a great variety of food items and there is usually something here for everyone.

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I got my first box today and it was the December box. I hadn’t seen you post any spoilers for December. Let me know if you want photos. I was happy. Felt like a steal

I get my box early as well. Love that. Mine arrived 11/26. OMG, it was an incredible value, wasn’t it? We love everything in the box!

December was just amazing. Loved everything, especially those Chips Ahoy cinnamon thin cookies and the peppered fava bean things. Everything was great.

Teresa

Got mine too, the men have almost devoured the whole box of cookies(just last night since it arrive last afternoon!) though so I NEED to find more of those ASAP. Decembers box is the best yet

Bekki do you know if this is the box we will get for the$9.99?

Teresa

You would get Decembers, or maybe January since they have already shipped Dec. You would not get Novemers

My jar of masala was open and leaked on most of the stuff so I didn’t get to try it. I got buffalo chicken jerky and it was horrible. I spit it out it was so bad. Everything was great.

This was my first box and I’ve been enjoying it. One of my bags of chips arrived open/spilled everywhere, but other than that I was impressed with the packaging. I’m looking forward to my next box, which is on its way!

I made the broccoli slaw recipe for thanksgiving – it was a hit!v the dressing is very good, and went well with the broccoli and fruit.

I made the broccoli slaw for Thanksgiving too and it was a big hit with my family as well! My sister said it’s going to have to be a new tradition.

This was my first box from them and I loved it! My chips were crushed too, sadly, but the ginger soda and the cough drops have been a godsend as the weather changed. Wasn’t planning to stay subscribed past the trial box, but I definitely will! Halloween coupon gave a free full size bag of cow tales candy.

Missy

I got turkey jerky instead of the beef and it was great! Can’t wait to try the Marsala !
